Hyoyeon, 22 years old, now on her second year in college. She and her friends decided to go to the library that day. Their professor told them to do a reasearch paper about a topic which will be passed the day after next. She wasn't the type to do things in advance, more like someone who works better under pressure. So instead of getting a book she sat down beside her bestfriend, Yoona, took out her diary and scanned through its pages. With nothing to write, bored as she was while waiting for her bestfriend to get finished, she lifted up her head and looked around. A guy caught her eyes.

Kai, 17 years old, on his tenth grade in high school. He was under a special studying program, Home-schooling to be exact, that made him have a different school life than the others. He had lesser friends, though he badly wants to make more. Kai went to the library. His instructor asked him if he could assist the school librarian that day and in return, he'll give him additional points in his monthly exam so he agreed. Quiet as he was, standing at the corner of the table while arranging returned books, he had caught someone's eyes without even noticing it.

Though one thing was evident. He was younger. Way younger than her.
