“Appa, I don’t know anyone here.” The little six year old girl tugged on her father’s sleeve, her older sister rolled her eyes, “Neither do I, but do you see me complaining?”

Their father crouched down and said, “Soojung you’re going to be fine.” He smoothed her uniform out, “You too Sooyeon.”

“One this is for sure, I am not wearing this ugly uniform until college. I don’t care if this is a private school, this is horrible!” she stared at her outfit in disgust. He laughed at his daughter’s outburst. “Make friends and have a good day. Appa has to go to work.”

Sooyeon turned to her sister, “You know where your class is right?” Soojung nodded vigorously. “Good, now remember to meet me right here after school.”

Sooyeon entered the third grade class. Would it be bad if she thought everyone looked the same. There weren’t many students but just enough. She scanned the room for her name while repeating it, “Jung, Jung…Ah ha!” Sooyeon clapped to herself as she put her backbpack down on her desk.

She looked to her left and saw a girl sitting next to her.  Her father’s words echoed in her head ‘Make some friends…’

“Annyeong.” She smiled at the girl. The girl’s eyes widened and pointed to herself, “Me?” Sooyeon laughed a little, “Ne,” She craned her neck to see the girl’s nametag on her uniform, “Im Yoona.”

“Ah..A-Annyeong.” She nodded and pressed her lips together. There was an awkward silence, “So where are you from?”

“America.”

“I have always wanted to go there-” Yoona was cut off when she was jumped in her seat, “Sorry, this is my cousin Yuri, I forgot to introduce you.” She said to Sooyeon than Yuri. Yoona leaned back over and pointed to the girl on the right of her. “You two look a lot alike.”

“We get that a lot.” They said simultaneously. ‘This making new friend’s thing is easier than I thought!’

Author's Note: And Here we have the prequel I promised to "Not Your Average relationship! If you havent read it, it was my very first story so the first couple of chapters were YIKES! ( I reread them... I felt embarassed.) Anyways I have other stories that I am working on as well. I just wanted to get all these stories out.
