Prologue

“Have you seen her here?” He extended his arm out, showing the girl a photo. “Why?” She asked barely taking a look at the photo.

“Well, she’s my girlfriend, this is her favorite bookstore and I haven’t been able to reach her for a while. So I was hoping that someone did.” He let out a small sad smile.

“I’m sorry sir, I haven’t.” The clerk responded finally looking at the photo.

“Thanks anyways-”

“Wait, you’re the one dating that model that comes in here all the time? Kai?” A small smile formed from her lips. He let out a nervous laugh, “Yeah.”

“Her name is Im Yoona right?”

“No I am not Yoona!” A girl laughed as she made conversation with a woman at the super market.

“But Krystal, do you know how much you look like her?” The one admired her beauty.

“I get that a lot, but I am nowhere near as pretty and not getting modeling offers now am I?” Krystal smiled and rolled her eyes, “I could never compare.” Krystal felt insignificant. What she wanted to do something to make someone happy and to be with someone to spend time with. She’s twenty one, living alone and all her friends had that special someone or something that made them happy. All she had going for her was that she looked like Yoona.

Yoona was a well-known model around town. Not the entire country, but everyone in the area she lived in. Or used to.

That night, Krystal sat next to her window, holding on to her phone waiting for something. She looked down and sighed, “Two new messages from Sehun and Minho…”

Kai climbed out his window, onto the fire escape, holding the picture of Yoona close to him. He looked up and let out a sigh, “Are we looking at the same sky Yoong?” A star darted across the sky.

Ask anyone what you should do when you see a shooting star, automatically you would think of making a wish.

He bit his lip and smiled looking down at the photo of her. It has been three weeks since the last time they had spoken, “I wish to be with my true love under any circumstances.”

A grin grew on Krystal’s face as her eyes followed the shooting star, “I wish my soul mate would come to me a little faster.” She looked down at the messages and frowned a little.

Sehun: We are stuck in Japan for a while

Minho: Next Month

If only Kai and Krystal have met their other halves.
