Ken cuddled beside Hyuk while the other watched his human playing. Ken had tried to learn so that he could join, but after several failed attempts that left bruises on his legs and Hyuk had dragged him off the field and just sat with him. It made Ken feel special, having Hyuk do things like that just for him.

“You’re pack,” Hyuk said suddenly, “do they know you’re doing this? Hanging out with a rouge and humans?”

“No,” Ken admitted, “I haven’t told them.”

“Why not?” Hyuk asked, but they both knew exactly why Ken was keeping quiet.

“I asked once,” Ken admitted, “if I could see you, talk to you.”

“And?” Hyuk glanced over, obviously curious about what Ken’s pack had said.

“They rejected my request,” Ken sighed, “they didn’t even think it over. They just looked at me, scoffed, and said no.”

“Maybe you should have listened,” Hyuk shrugged.

“Huh?” Ken looked over at the other, clearly upset but what Hyuk had said. Did he want Ken to leave?

“I don’t mean it like that,” Hyuk grumbled, “I mean that one of these days, your pack is going to figure out that you’re coming here, that you’re going against their wishes. When that happens, you’ll be in massive trouble. Do you think that this is worth all of that?”

“Yeah,” Ken nodded, not even giving it any thought. He’d decided ages ago that Hyuk was worth it. Even if he lost his pack and was left wandering the forest alone, spending the time he had with Hyuk would always be worth it.

“You didn’t think about that very long,” Hyuk muttered, trying to hide his blush, “you’ve thought about this before I take it?”

“Yeah,” Ken laughed a little when he noticed Hyuk’s blush. Without another word, Ken snuggled closer to Hyuk. With a sigh and pretend reluctance, Hyuk wrapped his arm around Ken’s shoulders.

A/N: short but sweet. also kind of stayed off the theme, but can you reallt blame me? The new addition to the HyuKen werewolf AU. Now I've got a question for you guys. So you know by now i've got a few series running through this (like this HyuKen werewolf AU and the vampire Luck with a side of Rahyuk AU). In time, the story lines for all of them are going to end (i know, it but it happen). when that happens, i'm thinking i might just take them and throw them all into their own respective stand alone stories. with some new additions to make things interesting and to fill in any holes in the story. question is, would you guys be interested in that?
