Theme 276
VIXX 300 Theme ChallengeTitle: Snow Pairing: Rahyuk Related Chapter: none Word Count: 564
The young werewolf giggled as he ran through the snow, bashing through snow drift after snow drift. He’d never seen snow before, not when he’d lived in a much warmer climate for most of his life. The snow was so new that he couldn’t help himself, he had to play in it. He knew that he should probably be inside the cabin with his parents, getting ready for the big alpha meeting later that day.
And yet here he was, outside having fun.
“Hey!” Wonsik looked up to find a young boy, another werewolf, around his age making his way over, “what are you doing here?”
“Playing,” Wonsik huffed, not at all used to the tone of voice the other had used. Back home, he was the alpha’s son, the packs next leader. Everyone respected that, respected him. No one talked to him like that.
“Clearly,” the other boy rolled his eyes, “what I’m getting at is that you aren’t from around here, are you? So what the hell do you think you’re doing on my pack’s land, pup.”
“Who do you think you’re calling a pup, runt?” Wonsik growled, getting right in the other boy’s face. He smirked slightly when he realized that the other was much slighter in frame then him, that he could win any fight that broke out easily.
“I--,” the boy was cut off by another kid rushing out of the woods and pushing Wonsik away.
“Don’t you dare talk to Sanghyuk like that,” the new werewolf growled and Wonsik backed up quickly.
This new kid was older and easily bigger then Wonsik. The alpha aura he gave off was powerful too, easily making Wonsik want to follow the orders given to him even though he was an alpha as well.
“Taekwoon hyung,” the young runt huffed, “I could handle it.”
“He’s an alpha, Sanghyuk,” the elder, Taekwoon, sighed, “you couldn’t handle him.”
Sanghyuk sighed, shrinking into the elder’s hold on him with a dejected look on his face. Wonsik took a moment to study the pair, quickly coming to the realization that Taekwoon was an alpha, probably the son of the local pack’s alpha, and Sanghyuk was his brother.
Well, if that didn’t make Wonsik feel horrible, he didn’t know what would. The two brothers would probably tell their father about him, their father that Wonsik’s own parents would probably be meeting with soon. His careless insult and verbal fight with Sanghyuk would probably make that meeting horrible.
His parents would be so mad at him.
“Go back to your parents, brat,” Taekwoon ordered, “and don’t ever talk to my brother like that again. If you do and I find out, I’ll tell my father all about this little exchange and whatever deal your parents are trying to work out with my family will fail. Got it?”
“Got it,” Wonsik nodded, hanging his head. He only looked up when he heard the brothers walking away.
As he watched them go, he found his eyes drifting to Sanghyuk. The kid was cute, adorable really. And he’d looked so upset when Wonsik called him a runt. It made Wonsik think of his own sister when people called her that. He felt horrible for saying that exact same thing to Sanghyuk.
Wonsik decided that the next time he saw the young werewolf, he’d apologize.
Maybe they could even become friends.
A/N: I’m baaaaaacccccck. And inspired enough to finish these last few themes. Still makes me sad that this will be over soon (I mean, over a year of my life has involved writing these themes, who wouldn’t be sad ‘bout something like that?), but I’m finally looking forewords to what will come after.
