Sanghyuk wasn’t a hateful being.

It would be easy for him to hate things, especially given some of the things he’d lived through. But he tried his best not to think of those times with hateful thoughts.

Yet there was one thing that never failed to fill him with hate, so much so that he often blinded him to all else.

His former master, his pharaoh.

Even the memory of that woman could enrage him beyond all rational thought. What she had done, taking his mummies and leaving him and Sungjae to die alone.........it was unforgivable. In all his years on the earth, he had never seen another pharaoh betray their loyal followers like that. Their loyal followers who had given up everything just to serve them.

Taekwoon and Jaehwan both knew this well, so they did everything in their power to ensure that their lover and soul mate never had to be reminded of her.

That was what made her sudden appearance in the lobby of their apartment building so horrible.

A/N: it has been some time since the last part of this au was added. Sorry ‘bout that, was having trouble finding a theme that could work with what I wanted to do.
