The first thing Sanghyuk realized when he came face to face with the Queen of Hearts was that she looked a lot like the Mad Hatter. He’d met the hatter, N, only a few hours before and was very against the idea of spending much more time around him or anyone like him.

N was really touchy.

“He’s so handsome,” the Queen giggled, reaching out to run her fingers along Sanghyuk’s jaw, “so tall and manly.”

Sanghyuk almost blushed, but then he recalled how N had said the exact same thing only a few short hours ago.

“He’s already met the Hatter, my lady,” Hongbin spoke up and the Queen’s face hardened into a glare.

“He has,” she hissed, “well no wonder he isn’t responding to me as he should. That maniac ruined him.”

Sanghyuk glanced at Hongbin who gave him an apologetic look while the female raged about N.

“Sibling rivalry,” the Knight of Hearts smirked slightly, “she always get’s like this when her brother is brought up.”

“Brother?” Sanghyuk asked, the similarity between the Hatter and Queen making total sense now.

“Yeah,” the Knight nodded, finally turning his full attention to Sanghyuk and eyeing the boy head to toe, “but keep that quiet, alright? Its supposed to be a secret.”

Sanghyuk looked over the Knight and got another feeling of deja vu. The knight before him looked a lot like N’s right hand man, the March Hare; Taekwoon. He wondered if maybe the pair were siblings as well. The only difference seemed to be their hair; Taekwoon had black hair that fell to his shoulders and the man before him now had short, blond locks.

“We should get going,” Hongbin suddenly spoke up, grabbing Sanghyuk by the arm and pulling him away, “the Queen isn’t someone to be around when she’s mad. I’m sorry we’ve given you more work, Leo. My apologies.”

“It’s no problem,” Leo smirked, a dark and deadly look appearing on his face, “I happen to enjoy cutting off people’s heads.”

Sanghyuk felt fear bubble up inside him as he found another difference between Taekwoon and Leo. Taekwoon was shy and quiet, but also very kind. Leo.......not so much.

A/N: i should probably tell you who’s gotten what roles, right? Well, Hyukkie is Alice and Hongbin is the White Rabbit (kind of obvious, right?). Ravi is both Tweedle Dee and Dum (I’ll go with the ‘Heart no Kuni no Alice’ colour scheme here and Dee will be a blue haired Ravi while Dum is a red haired Wonsik)(gotta admit, the splitting him into two is kind of cool, right?). N is both the Mad Hatter and Queen of Hearts thanks to gender bending (and the ’So Hot’ performance). Leo is also taking up two roles: the March Hare and Knave/Knight of Hearts (I’ll explain at another time why Leo is two people at once, but there is gonna be a reason for that).
