"These violent delights have violent ends."
—William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet
Foreword
Unintentionally dedicated to Naomi, who writes the most beautiful stories I've probably ever read.
A/N: Wow, it's been so long since I started a new story!
To be honest, I actually ship Chanyeol x Sulli more than Kai x Sulli, but when I came up for the idea for this story, it begged Kai and Sulli, so here it is. I've been planning and writing snippets of this story since last year, as part of a series of stories (which I don't know if I'll continue, but if I have time, sure) based on fairytales. I don't know when this story will be completed and published, but I'm working through it now! I'll warn you right now, this is not a fluffy or intensely romantic story. It's angst and a little bit of drama—all the good things, y'know. The poster is mine.
As I said, this story is loosely based on and inspired by a fairytale (by the end, you can guess which one), Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, and a line from Daniel Powter's song Bad Day:
"You kick up the leaves and the magic is lost."
