“You’re a disappointment to the family. A family of pure blood demons and then you had to come out as only a third of a demon? How repulsive.”

Repulsive, yes, but it wasn’t as if I chose to be this way. Had that woman not enchanted my father it could have been different. I would have been the perfect son, the perfect student. I would have made my family happy, instead of being this unwanted space.

Oh what a silly human this person was: thinking he could actually befriend me? A demon? The last thing I needed was more complications added to my life.

“Why do you try so hard? You already know you’ll always be thought of as a mere human to the family. You’re practically useless.”

Between the criticism of my family and the judgemental looks I receive at school, I can only watch as everything unfolds. I, a Tria-demon in a society of half-demons, to be feared by the ones who only seem to pity my lack of talent.
