"Hyung, they broke up like ages ago.. Just drink that beer, be happy on Sungmin Hyung's decision and get over it already." he retaliated in a very bored and slightly annoyed tone. It's not that he don't like Shindong, or his opinion. But in his own point of view, Sungmin had enough. What's in the past- he hope.. it would stay as a past. And Kyuhyun.. Even though he's a little snarky dongsaeng, a playful member and a straightforward human being, he cares for Sungmin. He loves Sungmin. Even though he got rejected for many many times he didn't  give up on courting the latter.. He was there through his hyung's ups and downs.. Although he is sometimes the reason why Sungmin feel like his  down to nothing, for him he is perfect for Sungmin. For him, as a best friend's point of view,  he is what Sungmin needs. And the thing that matters most.. He is the one whom Sungmin loves.

 

"But.. What if.. WHAT IF.." Shindong drew a quote with his two hands in the air. "What if Kangin hyung still loves Sungmin and so is our friend--"
 

Without even finishing his sentence Hyukjae already cut him off. "That's impossible." he waved his hand.

"Aish! that's why it's called what if! WHAT IF.." he explained in the most frustrated tone. "Who would you like him to be with?"
