Description

She never wanted to grow up, but it was almost impossible with Junhong around. To avoid the pain of the grown up world, they made a promise that could never have been kept.

At the time, neither expected their rebellion to cost them everything they had ever lived for.

They lost each other.

They found themselves.

No matter how much you love, sometimes, the wisest thing to do is to let go (and wait for it to find its way back..)

EST. 2004 - 2014
A modern rendition of the love story that never was…

Still, maybe they could make something out of what was left.

For each of the spiralling memories she recalled, to help her make it through the day, to deal with the simplest task of breathing without him—for every second of love she allowed herself inside her head, her heart found a fault to prevent the happy ending.

For every stolen kiss, there were the heaping regrets and disjointed pasts.

For every moment he pressed himself to her in mere habit for her presence, there were vile misconceptions the world had tossed to spear both of them, leaving two hearts poisoned, dying, deep in the darkness where nobody could find.

She knew the price of his happiness would be high, yet she slipped away and invited the cold reality to the very spirit from him, leaving him empty and alone, as she was after.

These twisted fates coiled around, yet obliterating, each other as they weaved their ways—jagged thorns of reality—into the soft and splendid world of her dreams to destroy the only thing that kept her going:

Junhong.

“A definition not found in dictionary:
NOT LEAVING.
Means an act of trust and love, often deciphered by children.”
— Markus Zusak, The Book Thief

Foreword

“Let me tell you something, kid.
Promises ain't nothing but what ifs; they are made to be broken.”

Choi Junhee became Juniel, the nation’s talented sweetheart; songwriter, composer, singer.

Choi Junhong became Zelo, the rebellious bassist of a rising underground rock band.

BAP was raw, wild and about to make it big. When Choi Junhong became nothing but a tormented past, composer-guitarist Bang Yongguk recruited Zelo, the cold brooding soul with heart just as cutting. Kim Himchan, keyboardist and the face of BAP, their moral pillar, a humane presence. Yoo Youngjae, singer-guitarist, an heir to his father's company, a runaway from predestined throne and towards his dreams. Jung Daehyun, the country boy, all smiles and tickling accents, but with a voice of heaven. Moon Jongup, the calculative shadow-blending drummer—no family, no history and no past.

They were innocent children…
                                      …they were lone suffering artists.

Chapter 17: It's quite confusing with the jump to this and jump to that then back to where we originally were. I'll try continuing it the future.
