“Hey.”

With one word, that was how their story started. Maybe it was the most mundane of all beginnings, but that was how it was. After all, they were just two normal college boys who walked two different paths – paths which seemed to have crossed in the most unexpected and unfortunate turn of events. And it began with that one word.

“Hey.”

That was how Baekhyun fell in love. With one word, his heart started fluttering. Or maybe it wasn’t actually the way it was said. Maybe it was because of the boy’s tantalizing eyes in front of him that looked directly into his; of how it seemed like he was marveling Baekhyun like a masterpiece. It was a welcoming fresh air in the intoxicating sea of unfamiliar people. And Baekhyun breathed him all in.

But this story is not about Baekhyun, or of how he fell in love that night in the college frat party. This is about that boy whom Baekhyun fell in love with at first sight. This is about Chanyeol.

And this is about how he broke his heart.
