"Chunyi!" a man's voice called as he arrived the house with two female characters following him from behind.

Hearing her father's voice, Chunyi beamed and quickly ran donwstairs. "Daddy!" With a quick and fluid pace, she skipped the last 3 steps and jumped down excitedly. "You're home!" A grand smile plastered on her face, she jumped into the arms of her only parent, giving him a big hug along. The two displayed great affection dispite already meeting in the morning, about 8 hours from now. Sensing two pair of eyes on them, little Chunyi turned her attention to the two guests her father brought along. "Daddy, who are they?"

The man deeply smiled at the woman standing right next to her daughter. "This is Meiqi-." "Meiqing?" Chunyi unintentionally cut her father, but she was even more enthusiastic now. Wiggling off from her father's arms, she ran to the women with an adorable grin. "Hello, I'm Chunyi, my daddy's daughter." She held out her hand, as her father chuckled at her attempt to sound oh-so-mature. Meiqing smiled back taking the younger's hand and replied back with a soft 'hello'. "Aunty- Ah no, can I call you mom?" She eagerly asked, causing the two elders blush and look away from each other. From the side, Chengjin coughed and approached his daughter as he ruffled her hair. "Daddy! You're messing my hair!" she pouted.

"That's what you get with your big mouth there," he teased. She sticked out her tongue, "My father talked a lot about you. He said you were gorgeous and his taste definitely doesn't disappoint me!" She went on, causing her father to put a hand over , embarrassed.

Meiqing laughed at the two's interaction, finding them both adorable. "Your daughter is very cute, Chengjin." Hearing her comment, he turned to her with a smug look. "Of course, she got that from me," he winked, as Chunyi grimaced, showing her disagreement.

Noticing the little girl behind her father's girlfriend, Chunyi tugged her father's pants and pointed the other guest, "Who is she?"

The two elders shifted their attention to the latter. Meiqing crouched down to her child's height. "Meili-ah, greet them," she encouraged her daughter to talk.

With a shy voice, she stared at the floor as she spoke up, "Hello, I'm Hua Meili." A short second of silence followed right after causing the latter to blush and hide behind her mother's leg. Suddenly, a bright laughter was heard and Meili looked up at the origin of the girly giggle.

"Meili, you're too cute," Chunyi smiled, "I'll have an adorable younger sister!" she proudly went on. Meiqing however interrupted her, "She's actually a year older."

With that statement, Chunyi's mouth left agape, "No way!" She looked at the girl behind her father's girlfriend with big round eyes, not believing that bit of information. Meili was shorter and seemed so timid unlike her. The two adults uncomfortably looked at each other when Chunyi's expression drastically changed from a giddy smile to a frowning face. Was being older mattered that much?

"Daddy," Chunyi called her father, although her eyes were still remained on Meili. "If Meili's older then it means I'm the baby of the family!" she hysterically laughed alone as Chengjin rolled his eyes once he understood what she said while Meiqing softly laughed. Meili, on her side, was fascinated by how someone could just so easily laugh in front of people they met for the very first time. Maybe having a sister wouldn't be so bad, she thought to herself.

"You scared us there, you know?" the only man chuckled, shaking his head from his daughter's behavior. "And you know what it means?" Chunyi immediately stopped laughed and panickly looked at her father, "Punishment?" she quietly mumbled to herself but the other three could perfectly hear her. Chengjin lifted an eybrow up as he approached his daughter, "You're right~" he singsonged, however the other two couldn't grasp the situation.

Quickly, Meiqing defended, "C-chenjing, don't punish her, she was only trying to joke." Ignoring what she said, Chengjin attacked his daughter with a tickle war, causing the younger girl to squeal.

Seeing them both laughing, it was Meiqing's turn to roll her eyes. Of course, Chengjin would love his daughter too much.

"Wang Chengjin!" Meiqing called and quickly all pairs of eyes were on her. She blew her bangs, a habit when she wasn't too happy, and looked at the older male. "I don't think it's right to punish your girl when you scared us as well." Taking the hint, Meili nodded as well, "You'll have to be punished too." she said with her small voice. Liking this situation a little too much, Chunyi pulled out her tongue to her father.

"I think you should..." Meiqing started but Meili soon finished her sentence, "Buy us ice cream!"

At the request, Chunyi laughed and ran toward Meili to give her a hug, "Daddy, I think I'd really love to have a sister!" and turned back to Meili, satisfied that the older latter was starting to open up to her father and herself. "Meili, let's go first!" She naturally hooked her arm with Meili's and headed toward the main door. However, before going out, Chunyi turned her head back to the adults, "You two better get married soon so that we can eat ice cream everyday!" She winked and pulled Meili out of the house along.

The two, who were left behind by Chunyi's impulsive action, looked at each other as soon as their daughters exited the house.

"I guess you can't refuse if I propose to you now~" Chengjin winked and whistled as he too joined the two girls.
