White lights flashed before me. The next thing I knew I crashed against the window shield or I what I supposed and was flung on to the cold road mercilessly. The impact of the accident my breath out of me, leaving me gasping on the ground begging for air. Cold liquids trickled down my forehead and obstructed my line of sight. With my vision blurred and my consciousness unstable, muted sounds echoed in my head as I watched footsteps approaching me. I then met eyes with a familar face. It was tear stained.
