Prologue

The city below gradually came into view as the plane descended from the sky. “Ladies and gentlemen,” Began the flight attendant, startling the sleeping passengers awake, and provoking those already awake to prepare to finally get off the plane. “For your safety and the comfort of others, please remain seated with your seat belt fastened until the Captain turns off the ‘Fasten Seat Belt’ sign.” Groans arose from those inside of the plane as they moved around in their seats. “This will indicate that we have landed safely at the gate and that it is safe for you to move about the cabin.” The attendant finished in a flat, monotone voice, which suddenly turned bubbly and upbeat. “Thank you for flying with us and enjoy the rest of your day.” Like clockwork, the passengers unbuckled themselves.

It was just two in the afternoon when the boys finally arrived in Seoul. Just days before, they were performing their showcase in Japan. All seven boys, glad to be back, stood from their seats and moved out into the aisles, reaching into the overhead compartments to collect their belongings before making their way out.

The members of Got7 were instantly flocked by adoring fans as they waited for one another to make it off the plane. After taking pictures with the passengers who happened to be fans, the seven started through the walkway into the terminal, where they were, once again, surrounded by more of their loving fans. If they could they would've greeted their fans, but they felt that it was a safety hazard for the other passengers. So they genuinely smiled and waved at their fans as they moved along as their manager is waiting for them in the front of the airport.

The ride home was silent, yet it was peaceful. There was no yelling and fooling around, which usually distracts the manager from driving. JB was the only one besides the manager to be awake at this moment as the rest were taking a nap in the back seats, unable to wait much longer for their beds.

“Hyung, we don’t have anything planned for today correct?” JB asked manager hyung, as he stared at the event that was marked on his phone, hoping that nothing will interfere with his plans.

Manager hyung thought for a bit, “Your schedule for today is just to relax, JYP believed you all should rest because you all worked hard this week. JB's face lite up and smiled indirectly.  "Are you going to visit your family, Jae?"

"That's the plan. I haven't seen them in a while and today is an important day." Manager Hyung nodded in understanding as he took a left turn into the garage to park the van as they arrived at the GOT7 dorm. JB took this time to see that his team was sleeping. He immediately poked Yugyeom on the cheek to wake him, which gradually lead to waking everyone else up as they made their way up to their dorm.

The moment they entered, they dropped their bags onto the ground, and Jackson and Mark laid themselves across the couch while Jr rested in his room. Yugyeom, Youngjae and BamBam made their way to the kitchen. “Hyung, I’m hungry!” BamBam cried as he opened the refrigerator, hoping food would appear in front of him.

Knowing the boys as well as he did, the manager had already called ahead of time ordering something for them to eat. “The food is on its way, so just wait.”

“In the meantime put your things away,” JB declared, as he was the last one to enter the dorm. He had been on the phone with his mother the moment he entered the elevator with the rest of the guys up until they had reached the dorm room, at which time he stepped outside to finish his conversation. “I’m pretty sure I ruined someone’s bag…” He announced making his way to his room to put his bag away. JB continued to settle himself and started by take a shower before his plans to head out.

The guys groaned, as they were too lazy to pick up the bags they’d only just dropped on the ground. So instead, the guys just hung around the couch waiting patiently for their food.

A faint knock on the door announced the arrival of the food. BamBam stood up quickly and hurried to open the door. “MANAGER HYUNG.” He screamed as he took the food and set it on the table in the living room.

“Honestly BamBam…” He swayed his head to side to side as he apologized for BamBam’s behavior. “You all did fantastic in Japan,” The manager started, moving to join the boys. “And now that were are back, I want you to rest for today. Tomorrow awaits, and we have a long day ahead of us.” Manager Hyung announces and took his leave.

“Jae Bum! Food’s here!” Mark shouted. “Better hurry before someone eats it all.” Everyone eyed BamBam as he placed many of the entrees onto his plate. He then began to eat, ignoring the fact that everyone was watching him.

“Let him be, I’ll be fine,” JB said, moving into the room as he fixed his shirt and collar. He walked into the living room, where he stopped to look at himself in the mirror, fixing his hair.

“Oh, hyung where are you going?” Youngjae asked with a full mouth. “You’re dressed so nicely.”

“ARE YOU GOING ON A DATE?!” Jackson butted in, looking at JB’s attire of black dress pants paired with a gray collared shirt. He rolled the sleeves up so they rested just above his elbows. The other members almost choked on their food listening to Jackson’s assumption, all were taken aback.

JB just shook his head and looked at his watch, noticing the time. “One, I’m not going on a date, I’m going to meet up with my family to watch my sister perform.” He announced as he grabbed his phone and coat from his room. ”Two, I’m running out of time, so all of you behave. Mark and Jinyoung are in charge.” Four groans filled the room, but Mark and Jinyoung reached across the table and punched each other’s fists in a triumphant and smug manner. “If anything happens I have my phone.” He quickly put on his shoes and made his way out the door. “I’ll be back later than usual.”

Jackson smirked, commenting, “His girlfriend must be an expensive one. Just look at the way he is dressed and he’s actually aware of the time.”

“Hyung said that he was going to meet his family, wasn’t he?” Yugyeom asked, and BamBam nodded in agreement, only vaguely aware of the situation as he continued shoveling food into his mouth.

“Want to bet he is not on a date?” Jr snickered, taking sides with Jackson.

Youngjae was looking around watching everyone’s reactions. “Actually, I think everyone here thinks that JB is going on a date.”

“Well then we would just have to wait and see.”
