Your vocabulary along with AJ's conflicted thoughts are what brought this story to life in my opinion. I felt as if I didn't need much description of the scenery since AJ's thoughts are what kept the reader occupied.

It's not the OTP that made it special for me, it's the fact that the way this story plays out actually seems like something that would occur in reality. It's not too fast or too slow. It's just right.

I was almost expecting a scene, but even without it, it ended nicely and I enjoyed every moment.
