Chandalice academy was the very first academy to preserve Vampire race that almost disappear from the earth because of the growing of human population. In the chandalice academy there was three classes of Vampire. Guardian of the night(nighter), guardian of the day (Daylighter), or guardian of eternity (Eternal)

The nighter was the pureblood vampire that couldn’t live in the day. They had special abilty from they were born (like flying, light etc). When the nighter grown up they develop shadow  to protect them from sun, but under the sun their special ability couldn’t be used. They fed from food and also the vampire blood.

The daylighter was halfblood or human that change in to vampire. They could live under the sun, but they have no special abilty from born or they can develop. They just physically strong. Having a huge appetite for human blood and couldn’t eat the food.

The eternal was the highest class of the pureblood. They could live both and night and day. Different with Nighter they were not only had special abilty but they are Lethal one up to the level that other couldn’t surpass. They were the chosen one, not based on your ability. There were only five in Academy.
