Yiruma - Farewell

“I am so sorry, Minyoung. I should have told you this earlier, but my heart has gotten weaker by the days. As for now my heart has trouble beating on its own. I am at the hospital all the letters you send me is given by the maid I hired to take care of the house. She always visits the hospital to give me the letters so I can reply back.

I am not giving up that easily, I know I`ll be able to step inside my house again one day. So I can eat my candy bars and read your letters. I always look forward to read them; they are the highlight of the day. Without your letters I don`t think I would have been able to struggle through this pain.

Who am I kidding? As much as I would like to live for many more years I know my time has now come, I am the one leaving for good. But please, stay strong you have so much good in your life, look at yourself you`re soon to be getting your degree. I couldn`t have been more proud.

Our friendship is the reason my life has bright colors. Our friendship is the reason why I now understand the words colors, happiness and joy. Those words weren`t in my vocabulary before I met you, I didn`t know the true meaning behind happiness and friendship, but now I do.

Friendship and happiness aren`t seen by the eyes, but felt by the heart, you made it possible for me to feel, Minyoung; I was busy looking at people`s faces to understand their feelings, when I should have looked at their hearts instead.
