Elysian. Plastic. 

Elysians are the heavenly divined and beautiful human beings of our society. They are most commonly weathly and affluent. They live comfortably, free of disease and sickness. They are the ones who rule society. Those who are chosen as Elysians are truly blessed. If you were born in an Elysian family, it is most likely that you will be chosen to be an Elysian.

Those who are not are called Plastic. They were average people. Most of them are commoners. They live to get by. Nothing special.

We are chosen whether we are a Plastic or an Elysian on Selection Day. Selection Day is where all the children the age of 14 are gathered in a ceremonial event for their selection. It was already predetermined who would be an Elysian or a Plastic based off that child's family background.

However, there were special cases. A child of a Plastic family can be chosen as an Elysian. On some occasions, this does happen. 

Or.

A child of an Elysian family gets chosen as a Plastic. This never happens.

Yet it did.

I am born in an Elysian family.

My twin brother, Kim Jongin, was chosen as an Elysian.

I was chosen as a Plastic.
