Wind Tamers
Description
Life as a Wind Tamer is not unlike being an ordinary human for Taeyang. He has little trouble in hiding what he is the majority of the time, keeping the tell tale signs out of the open, but when he feels another of his kind nearby and slips up, it leads him into a fair bit of trouble with the possibility of a better ending than he could have ever dreamed.
Foreword
Tamers are those people born with the ability to 'tame' an element of their calling. While the gift itself runs in the bloodlines of certain families, it has been known to skip a generation or two, which is how Taeyang inherited his: from his grandmother on his father's side, leaving him completely confounded on how to actually be a Tamer. Oh, he can hear the wind as if it speaks to him and can even coax it into acting as he commands, but from the stories, he knows there's so much more. Yet it's because of those who wanted more and used their gifts for personal gain that he is afraid to try.
All he knows for sure is that the safest place to hide is in plain sight among the tameless: people who lack the ability to interact with any element. To be discovered is dangerous, if not an outright death sentence, and survival is a matter of not being noticed.
But can you truly live when you perpetually deny who you really are?

So I had meant to do a sort of birthday oneshot for Taeyang but that just didn't work out as hoped. I'm a bit late, I know, and I'm still working on it, though hopefully it will be up later today. Besides, I've been itching to throw these two together for something for a while and the real world setting wasn't working so hurrah for fantasy. lol I hope you enjoy!
