Roommate: Idol Special
Description
One of the most SBS’s popular variety shows, Roommate, is now back with season two! This time, SBS has taken an initiative to only bring the particular idols into the house instead of mixing them up with the actors. Consisting of trendy idols group like SNSD, f(x), Infinite, EXO and et cetera, this second season might spark utmost attention from their respective fans as they would love to see their favourite idols living together under the same roof.

Roommate (Korean: 룸메이트) is a South Korean reality show; a part of SBS's Good Sunday lineup, along with Running Man. It was first aired on May 4, 2013. The show features eleven celebrities living together in a share house, sharing common spaces such as the kitchen, living room, and washrooms, as well as household tasks. The house features sixty cameras and five bedrooms.The program is a response to society today where single-person households are dramatically increasing and aims to show the life, troubles, and joys of eleven different celebrities as they form friendships, relationships and possibly enemies living together under one roof.
The lineup cast that has been confirmed to live under the same roof for the second season are EXO's Lu Han, Infinite's L, BTOB's Hyunsik, Teen Top's L.Joe, f(x)'s Victoria, SNSD's Yoona, After School's Nana and A Pink's Eunji.
Although EXO is in the midst of promoting their 'Overdose' comeback in both Korea and China, Lu Han has already stated that he will try his best to block out some of his time to 'rest' in the new house. Same goes to Infinite who is about to have their comeback this late May.
With the first episode that will be airing early this June, come and join the idols to embark on a new adventure filled with friendship, love, harmony and perhaps, betrayal?
Foreword
“Please take care of me during our stay here, roommates!” Lu Han’s last words make the rest of them give him a round of applause.
The last person to give everyone a brief introduction, which is the astonishing yet reserved Kim Myungsoo whose stage name is L.
He stands up and looks at everyone with a bashful smile. “Annyeonghaseyo. I’m L from Infinite,” he says, “Nice to meet you guys and I hope we all can be good friends through this programme.”
As soon as he slumps back into his seat, Nana is the first one to bombard him with a keen question. “How old are you, L-ssi?”
“23,” L answers concisely.
“Oh, so you’re a year younger than me.” She puckers her luscious lips adorably.
“Ah, Nana-ssi is your noona, L-ssi?” Victoria, who has been pretty gloomy, on the spur of the moment, perks up upon knowing L’s age. “I thought I am the sole noona for the guys but it seems there’s another noona here.” She casts a significant glance towards Nana’s direction and chuckles contentedly.
“I’m joining the noona line also, unnie,” Yoona chimes in, scrunching her nose. “L.Joe-ssi, Hyunsik-ssi and L-ssi are all younger than me.”
“What about Lu Han-ssi?” Nana frowns.
The said guy grins. “I’m 25 year-old.”
“Ah, really?” Eunji seems dazed. “Lu Han oppa looks so much younger – like a baby!”
“Eunji-ah’s right.” Hyunsik nods in agreement. “Lu Han hyung looks even younger than me!”
L.Joe claps his hands and looks up to the elder as though he were younger than him. “I think so too!”
“Stop that kind of flattery, guys,” he says defensively. “I kind of hate people calling me young, fake maknae and even pretty boy. I’m manly. EXO’s manliest guy, Lu Han!”
A fit of amused laughter erupts throughout the group upon his witty remark.
“You know, when we had interviews after being cast, the production team would ask us which idols we are expecting, right?” The bright, chatterbox girl, yet again takes the lead. “So, L-ssi… amongst the female idols, which one are you expecting to live under one roof the most?”
Victoria, Yoona and Eunji look pretty much calm and do not show their emotions as evident as Nana although they are curious as well. She seems pretty much anticipated for his answer.
“D-do I have to answer it?” L asks awkwardly, as if wanting to conceal his answer. A bright shade of blush has already crept upon his cheeks, inadvertently showing how embarrassed he is at the moment.
“Of course you have!” Nana laughs.
Instead of voicing out his thought, he would rather raise his finger up and point it to the particular female idol.
“Me?” Yoona’s jaw falls open when the finger is lifted to her. There is literally a pregnant silence amidst the group as all of them seem to be quite in a shock.
“It’s you, Yoona noona.” L bobs his head up and looks at her, nodding coyly. “I’ve always admired you, noona. All of our Infinite members like you especially Sungyeol. And just so you know, I’d love to talk to you but never had a single chance. Though there were times where our comeback promotions are clashing, we didn’t really talk to each other. So throughout this programme, I’d love to befriend you and communicate with you a lot!”

Author's Note: Hello there! I'm here to bring you a brand-new story which I don't usually write, Roommate : Idol Special! Since I love the show, I'd want to express it in my own writing with my favourite lineup. There will be pairings but I'd rather keep it hidden for this time being. That's all peeps ♥.
