After meeting with an accident and going into a coma for nearly two months, seven-year-old Jessica's life changed. She starts to have visions of this girl each time she drifts off to sleep. They share a bond Jessica calls special and she soon makes it a habit to take frequent naps just to meet this girl. In high school, she quickly earns a reputation for being a sleepyhead but nobody knew the real reason why. As she gets used to the freedom and tranquility of living in her dreams, she starts to distance herself from the real world thinking that she doesn't fit in anyway. Then she meets a transfer student, who looks exactly like the girl she keeps seeing in her dreams. She feels as though she's known this girl her entire life, yet the latter seems to want nothing to do with her.
