Description
Kim Jongdae has nothing planned in his life, but he learned to live it.. While Lee Chaerin doesn’t know how to live the life she has. Nothing in them fits because they're life is like an antithesis... but the moment they met—they still felt safe with each other.
Will being together teach them the real meaning of living? Will learning to live teach them to smile with pure hearts? Will their pure hearts bring them to the home they’ve never had? Will being home also mean learning to love each other?
Kim Jongdae has always known what the word home is, but he doesn’t have any plans to go back there. Even though people see him as a smiling fool who doesn’t know what he wants in life, he is happy enough that he can do anything he wants to live his life. But what if he no longer knows how to live his life? Will he be able to understand what living is if he decides to go back to South Korea... his home.
Lee Chaerin doesn’t know the word home. Since her dad is an adventurous and known professor of Physics who travels a lot, she never did learn to have real friends and live a real life. Whenever people see her, they admire how cool and sophisticated she is, it must be because of her fashion, the way she talks or just her charisma.. but everyone who get to see her wants to be her—but that’s it, she was just admired from afar but no one took interest to be her friend. But what if for the first time, her father decided to go back to South Korea, her home.. would she be able to get out of her isolation and finally understand home?
Kim Minseok is the greatest and only friend Kim Jongdae has. He always supports, guides and even protects his friend. Although he is not like Jongdae, who doesn’t know his direction in life, he choose to stay by Jongdae’s side and be with him as he struggle to find his dream. But what if he realize that to make Jongdae find dream, he needs to make Jongdae go back to South Korea? How long will he be able to put aside his dream (once again) and stay by Jongdae’s side?

I know. Whaat?! Kim Jongdae & Lee Chaerin in s fanfic. THEY'RE COMPLETELY OPPOSITE! That is what I thought--& still believe too.. but there is just something about their personalities that made me want to write them together. This is my first english fanfic.. so yeah.. sorry.
Also, if you're going to ask why Beijing--I DUNNO TOO! (LOL. I haven't even got to china & I'm not chinese!) but I assure you that the setting will change in some chapters. THAT'S ALL!
Foreword
"Nothing makes sense Minseok! South Korea and the people's judgement to me is suffucoting me! Is this how a korean from north feels like" Jongdae was screaming on the top of his laughs. He was smiling like a fool even though he was wasted. Even though he was tired--lost.
"Do you want to be shot or get arrested?" Minseok was carrying all the weight of his drunk friend as he gives Jongdae a piggyback ride.
"Ahhh! My dear, dear minseokkie! You must be tired of my rants about my useless life" he was now crying. He can't tell if it's because of the alchohol, but he just can't hold to it anymore.. he can't hold on to anything.
"YAH! Shut up!" Minseok let go of Jongdae causing him to fall "Yes, I've had enough! That's why I am asking you once again... come with me to Beijing! Lu Han just opened his Cafe and he needs good barista's like us"
"Good barista? Me?" he points at himself "Nope, I'm just a barista.. YOU'RE the good barista. BUT SCREW THIS! SCREW LIFE! I'm moving to Beijing!" Jongdae threw his hands in the air "YAHOO!"
After 3 months,
in Beijing Capital International Airport.
"Honey.. Chaerin-ah, we're in Beijing"
Chaerin rubbed her sleepy eyes then put on some shades "Oh, I thought we're going to Hong Kong? Sorry, I guess it slipped my mind"
"It's ok," her father looked at his wrist watch "Soo.. I'll be going to this seminar for lunch then we'll meet up in my dinner meeting"
"Ok, just notify me the venue. I'll just visit some places first." Chaerin looked at her phone to check the time "7:32 AM.. welcome to Beijing Chaerin"
