Chaerin is very much in love with Jiyong. She fell in love with Jiyong when she became a trainee of YG Entertainment. He was the first guy to approach her and befriend her. Seeing their chemistry, YG sajangnim willingly allowed them to date but he didn't tell them. Chaerin's members knew about her crush on Jiyong, so did Yang sajangnim. Everyone would always tease the two. Being Chaerin's favorite oppa, Jiyong took care of her extra well. He would ask her if she had eaten, buy her food, wipe her sweat after practices and give her massages if she's tired. After a while they started dating with the approval of Yang sajangnim and of course members of the YG Family. 

Chaerin and Jiyong were hanging out, laying down on a blanket, stargazing. "Hunchae," Jiyong looked at Chaerin. 

"Yes, oppa?" Chaerin turned her head to face Jiyong. Jiyong held her hands and intertwined it with his and put their hands on his stomach and just smiled at her.

"Oppa," Chaerin giggled. "what is it?" she asked. Jiyong sat up and leaned his head towards Chaerin who was laying down and kissed her softly. Chaerin gladly returned the kiss.

"I love you Hunchae," he said aas he broke the kiss.

"I love you too, Jiyong oppa." Jiyong wrapped his arms around her as she lay her head on his chest.

That was before Chaerin debuted as a member and also leader of 2NE1. After she debuted, things between her and Jiyong changed. BIG BANG began promoting a lot in Japan which made Chaerin and Jiyong hardly spend their time together. Chaerin texted Jiyong every hour of the day but he would just reply her once and that made Chaerin feel confused, sad and angry that she decided to stop texting Jiyong.

Jiyong returned back to Korea and knew Chaerin would be mad at him so he made it up to her and started spending his time with her more. 

Everytime Jiyong promoted in Japan, Chaerin would always hear some news about him hanging around with a Japanese girl named Kiko Mizuhara and she didn't like it one bit. She knew that Jiyong knows that people are actually talking about him and this girl so, she wondered why he didn't want to talk about this with her.

"Ji, I want to talk to you." Chaerin looked at her boyfriend whose eyes were glued to the computer screen, working on a song.

"Aren't you talking right now?" Jiyong answered, not bothering to look at her. 

"That is so polite of you," Chaerin said sarcastically and rolled her eyes.

"What do you want?" he snapped. "Can't you see I'm busy right now?" he sighed in annoyance. 

"What's up with you? You're treating me like as if I mean nothing to you, Jiyong." Chaerin said angrily. She knows that he doesn't like her calling him only Jiyong.

"But I'm busy, what's so important that you need all my attention on you?" Jiyong looked at her with an annoyed face. 

"So, I'm not important?" Chaerin asked. Jiyong smirked and turned his attention back to the screen.

"You're crazy, I hate it when you start this crazy talk." 

"Look, Ji, I just want to..." Jiyong's phone rang and he answered it quickly.

"Hey, Kik." Jiyong walked out of the recording studio.

"Looks like she's more important than me," Chaerin sighed and burried her face in her palms.

A year and a few months passed. Chaerin gained popularity each day but that didn't make her much happier. Jiyong was slipping away from her grasp. Chaerin read all the text messages that Jiyong sent to that girl and it seemed like that girl really wants Jiyong badly, ually too. Chaerin loved Jiyong too much to even bother. In Jiyong's texts to that girl, he said that he's want to have badly but he felt like Chaerin is too pure and that was why she lost her innocence to him, to prove to him that she isn't and that's why he has to love her. But it's just not enough.

That was why Chaerin agreed to end their relationship though they promised to remain good friends in front of the cameras.

Day by day Chaerin's grudge against Jiyong grew. She was hurt and she had to let it all out but she couldn't. Not even by talking to her best girlfriends, her members.

She moped around when she was off stage and off camera. She couldn't stop thinking about Jiyong especially since he had new girl, Kiko Mizuhara.

Chaerin knew that she couldn't be compared to Kiko. Chaerin knew she's better. Chaerin knew Jiyong like no one else does. Kiko wasn't the same.

Jiyong and Kiko were in bed. Jiyong rolled over to be on top of her. Jiyong kissed her roughly.

"Relax, dragon." Kiko giggled. Jiyong thought of Chaerin. "Why that serious look?" Kiko asked. "Come on, I'm waiting, honey." Kiko frowned. Jiyong felt horrible everytime he was with her. It's not that he didn't like her, it's just that Chaerin won't get out of his head. Jiyong continued kissing Kiko. Everything felt different. He has with Kiko. He made love with Chaerin. That was the difference. No one would whisper in his ear like Chaerin does. No one kisses softly yet passionately like Chaerin does. "Stop thinking of her," Kiko pouted. Jiyong looked at her and then he looked away and went to sleep.

Chaerin and her girls were walking to the dance studio for practice and they ran into the other guys of BIG BANG.

"Hey," Bom greeted her boyfriend with a kiss.

"Hey, baby." Seunghyun hugged her.

"You guys remind me of Ji and Ki," Seungri laughed. "only difference is that you two don't have a room." he continued, not remembering that Chaerin was there. Chaerin felt her heart sink, especially when the rest of BIG BANG laughed along. Chaerin used to think that they were her brothers, now they're just like Jiyong, ignorant. Chaerin walked away and heard Bom scolding the guys along with the maknae who couldn't hold back her curses when she's upset. Dara stood there and glared at the boys.

Chaerin's at the legal age now. Bom, Dara, Seunghyun, Youngbae and Daesung went to the club together. Chaerin left her unnies who were busy dancing with their boyfriends. She went to get a glass of non-alcoholic beverage. She didn't drink because alcohol reminds her of Jiyong. She went to the middle of the dancefloor and started dancing with a drink in her hand. 

Jiyong sat with his boys and he spotted that familiar blonde girl whose style stands her out from everyone in the crowd and he noticed that it was Chaerin. Jiyong didn't like the sight of Chaerin grinding some random guy while drinking and getting wasted. No one can touch his Hunchae. Jiyong walked up to her and pulled her away, far away from the crowd. 

"What are you doing here?" Jiyong asked angrily. 

"Can't a single girl have some fun with some guys?" Chaerin asked in return and looked away.

"What the heck were you doing? Dancing like you're some . These people will take advantage of you! And what's worse? You're CL!" Jiyong yelled.

"So?" Chaerin scoffed.

"They'll hurt you!"

"Like you did?" Chaerin walked from Jiyong, leaving him dumbfounded.

Chaerin still loves Jiyong and that was why she was hurting. She tried moving on but her love for him was just too strong.

She hates hearing the boys talk about what happened in Jiyong's room the other night.

She knows that part of Jiyong still wants her, that's why he got mad at her at the club and she's the only one who satisfies him.

Baby I’m the best so you can’t do better" she sang. The fans went wild. The fans were thinking how amazing her singing was and how amazing she was to pull that song off. They didn't see, they couldn't see how she was feeling at that moment. Some do feel that she really brought herself into the song and sang the lyrics like she meant it. She actually did. That song was meant for the guy who attended their show for three days in a row. She found him sitting at the very back of the stadium with the others from YG. Through her performance for that song, she couldn't see his tears, no one did.

Jiyong went backstage to meet the girls since the last two days of their 'NOLZA' Concert, he couldn't talk to them as they were quickly sent back home to rest. Today was his chance before she goes to Japan. Everything has to be right again.
