Note: I've used quite a bit of imagination in the following description. Coincidences remain as coincidences.

A Brief History:

Shadow Blade had evolved from its original bloodied, rowdy gang of fiends to become Korea's most respected and feared mafia group, through the generations of its family heads. Renouncing their feudal approach to garnering money, they emerged as one of the first groups to form syndicates and turn their attention to the expanding economy and technological advancements.

Finance corporations, entertainment industries, politics.. These are some of the major areas where Shadow Blade makes its revenue. Legally, at least. Beneath the smooth attire of polished dignity and respect, they continue their primary line of work; disguised as modern day vocations.

Enter the night club scene, South Korea's hottest attraction. Shadow Blade controls a major portion of the night life industries by establishing the largest infrastructure dedicated to the thumping music, flashing lights and entwining bodies.

Amidst this ruckus, the daily dealings happen. A playmate is earned, cash exchanges hands, someone might get a black eye for not paying up. The usual.

In the past few years, "the Shadow" has grown significantly under the inexorable reign of its current Boss. Using his wicked merger of astute ruthlessness and impressionable virtue, the Blade Boss expanded his domain all over Southern Korea steadily, even when warring with the growing influence of the Chinese Triads.

With modernity in his sight and traditionality in his blood, the Blade Boss established a hierarchy of power within his gang while picking up a few quirky flavours for his own taste. His line of administration is composed by the individuals closest to him. He does not care where they come from, as long as they form an oath of brotherhood with him and be loyal to the interests of the gang. 

It is within this brotherhood that our story is set. In the house of the Blade Boss itself. A place that holds different emotions for different people.

A place that granted refuge.

A place that accepted who they were.

A place to belong to.

A place to call home.

A place that sustained.

A place to enter no matter what.

A place to quietly plot revenge.

A place filled with felons.

A place that rivaled. 

A penitentiary.
