YURA’S POV

Though I’m with Woohyun, I still can’t avoid my eyes from looking at Myungsoo. Why is he alone again?

“Yura-shi! I heard that prom’s coming.”
“Is it?”
“Neh~ Are you coming?”
“Molla. Still haven’t thought of it.” I continued looking at Myungsoo’s direction that it kinda bothered Woohyun.
“Is there something wrong?”
“Mm?” I raised my brows. “Ahh~ Ani. There’s nothing wrong.” I smiled sheepishly.
“Jeongmal? You seem bothered by something.”
“Aniya. Just continue eating.”

As he took a bite on his sandwich, I continued getting a glimpe of Myungsoo. He seems to be experiencing a problem. I need to find it out. Mm. I nod to myself.

The following day.

NARRATOR’S POV

During classes the teacher handed the students the letter for the incoming prom this Friday.

Woohyun read the letter and a smile was formed on his face.
“Yah! Woohyun-ah~ Looks like you’re very happy that prom’s coming. Have a date?” Hoya asked.
“I’ll be asking her later.”
“Great then.”

…

Myungsoo also received the same letter regarding prom. Pssh~ Prom. The first thing that entered his mind.

“Myungsoo-yah! You coming to prom?” Sunggyu asked.
“Prom? Why would I waste my time one that?” He rolled his eyes and look straight ahead.
“I guess you won’t be seeing Yura wearing a gown.”
“Bwoh?”
“And would you want to see Yura with Woohyun?”
“Tch. Yura? What about her being with Woohyun? I don’t care about them.”
“Aish. This guy. Always in denial.”
“Why don’t you just focus on your life than on someone else, huh?”

*bell rings*

Myungsoo stood up from where he was seated and walked out of the room quietly.

“Aish.” Sunggyu held his hair with both hands and shook his head.
“Sunggyu-shi!” Dongwoo placed his hand over Gyu’s shoulder.
“Hm?”
“Seems like you’re having trouble. What did yo and Myungsoo talked about?”
“You know. From what I see, I feel like Myungsoo got this something for Yura.”
“JINJA? That cold-hearted guy?” Dongwoo laughed out of disbelief.  “What made you say that?”
“You see. Awhile ago, during lunch I was across Myung’s table. I wanted to join him since he was alone but I noticed that he was busy doing something. Do you know what that something is?”
“Uhhh…ani. What?”
Sunggyu leaned closer to Dongwoo’s ear and whispered. “He was busy looking at Yura.”
“Ohh. I see.” Dongwoo chuckled.
“And I’m sure that the look he gave her wasn’t any other oredinary look.” He leaned closer and whispered again. “It was a special one.”
“Hahaha. Hyung! Should we set them up?”
“Aniya. Those two would find their way together.”
“Haha. Yeah! Like true love.”
“Neh.”
“But what about Woohyun?”
“Yura seems to like Myungsoo too. That’s what I’m feeling. So it’ll be better if those two go out as soon as possible because if things take longer, Woohyun might get hurt.”
“Now that you mentioned it, you’re right.”
Sunggyu nodded.
“Yah! Hyung!”
“Bwoh?”
“Should we stalk them?”
“Psh.” Sunggyu shook his head and ruffled Dongwoo’s hair.

…

Yura placed her books inside her locker then a bunch of girls surrounded her.

“Yura-shi! Who’s your prom date?” One girl asked.
“I heard that you and Woohyun are together now.” Another girl asked.
“Neh~ Is he your date? You’re so lucky.”
“Ah~ that…” Yura looked around. “I’m not yet sure.”

At that same moment Myungsoo was looking for her and found her surrounded by those curious girls.
“But what if he asks you?” A girl asked.
“Yea. What would you tell him?” 
“Uhmm..moll-“ Yura was cut by Myungsoo.

He pulled her and brought her to an empty hallway.

The girls panicked and came up with numerous of questions about the two.
“Is that Myungsoo?”
“Where is he taking her?”
“Does Myungsoo like her too?”
“Eotteoke? Why does Yura have all the hot guys surrounding her?” 
 

While being pulled to an empty hallway, Yura kept yelling. “Yah! Yah! What’s wrong with you?”
Myungsoo stopped and let go of Yura’s hand. He looked away. He can’t even look straight on Yura’s eyes.
“Myungsoo-yah.” Yura lowered her voice. “Is there something wrong?” She placed her hand over Myungsoo’s shoulder but he won’t answer nor look into her face.
Yura tilted her head and looked into his eyes. Myungsoo remained silent. He gave her no clue on what he is thinking with his poker face.
“Myungsoo-yah. What’s your problem? I saw you earlier and you seemed down. Tell me what it is.”
Still…no reply from him.
“Yah!” She shouted. “Myungs—“

Yura’s eyes widened as Myungsoo’s lips touched hers. A few moments she shut her eyes. But she can’t still believe that the guy who always ignored her and treat her coldly would ever do such thing.

Myungsoo pulled away from the kiss. He looked at her straight in the eyes with such cold stare and pulled her for a hug. He brushed his hand through her hair and whispered… “I’m sorry for what I did before. I was afraid that I might fail to take care of you. I thought that Woohyun would be the better man to protect you and make you happy. But seeing you two together, it breaks my heart. Yura-shi… I love you.”
“I-“ Yura started feeling her tears falling from her eyes. She smiled and hugged him back. “I love you too.”
