Teddy Bear Moments; Misunderstandings

“So where are we eating?”Yura asked.

“Where do you want?”

“Hmmm...How’s about let’s not eat in a restaurant?”

“Wae?”

“So it’ll be something different.”She grinned.

“Oh. Okay~ As you say so.”

Food stalls where found in every street inside the campus.

“Oppa! I want to eat ramen.”She pointed at the stall as she hugged the huge teddy bear.

I chuckled. “Okay~ Give me that teddy bear. I’ll carry it for you.”

“But oppa, you’re already carrying those gifts. You’ll have a hard time walking.”

It’s okay for me to suffer as long as you’re not.

“No it’s okay. I’ll do it.”I took the teddy bear from her.

“Ani~ I’m fine.”She pulled it back so I pulled it again. “Oppa! Stop pulling it.”

“Not unless you give it to me.”

“No!”She put all her power to pull the bear but I gripped it very tight and… *falls*

I threw the teddy bear to the side as I grabbed Yura’s arm and supported her back with my hand. We had a one second eye contact. Later on, I helped her stand and pulled away. We felt awkward and I felt sorry for Sungjong’s gift.

Yura was bowing her head. “K-k-komawo oppa.”

I looked at my left and rubbed the back of my hair. “Anything for you.” *coughs*“I mean no prob.”

She giggled and faced me.

“Are you okay?”I asked.

“Neh!”She flashed her adorable eye smile.

MINA’S POV

*calls Sungjong*

The number you dialed is not yet in service please try again.

*sighs*“Sungjonggie, I’m worried about you. Did something happen to you?”

Hmm…who’s most likely to be with him? Ahh! Yura!

*calls Yura*

Hello?

Yura! Do you know where Sungjong is?

No. Bye~

Wait. *sighs*

Is there something that happened which I don’t know?

*sitting on the staircase*

I was still worried and confused on what’s happening. My position can tell that I’m carrying a burden right now. My brows wrinkled to a worried façade and my fists where placed under my chin beneath my pouting lips.

“Mina? What’s wrong?”Minwoo popped out all of a sudden.

I let out a sigh. “Oh…nothing.”

“I know there is. Tell me.”

“School works.”

He shooked his head. “Mina, I know you. You won’t be that miserable for school. Is it because of Sunjong?”

I covered my face with my palms with my elbows resting on my knee.

“Is it?”

I nodded.

“Look. Whatever that problem is, it will be solved maybe not now but later on. Sungjong loves you and I know he’ll not let you be this sad forever.”

I began to sob. *sniffs* “Aww~ Thank you Minwoo.” I hugged him and he hugged back.

I looked on my left and found Sungjong staring at us.

I pulled away from the hug. “Sungjong.” My eyes were still filled with tears. As the water dropped from my left eye, Sungjong turned his back and walked away.

I ran up the staircase. Sungjong, tell me what’s wrong so we could fix things out.

“SUNGJONG!!”I shouted.

He halted and faced me.

“Why are you ignoring me?”

“Tch. Why don’t you ask yourself and your new boyfriend I found you leaning on the other day and now hugging. Hmp.” He crossed his arms and turned his back.

Wait. Is that it. *chuckles*“Aww~My  Sungjonggie is jealous.” I hugged his back.

“Hmp.”

“You shouldn’t be jealous with Minwoo.”

“Soooo..Minwoo’s the name of this new boyfriend of yours.”

*laughs*“I only have one boyfriend and he’s the one I’m hugging right now.”

He didn’t respond but I know he’s smiling although his back is the one I’m seeing.

After a moment of silent he questioned me. “But why were you two acting sweet?”

“Ohh that. We were shooting for our project. And the hugging you saw earlier was only a friend’s comfort. I told him that we’re having a problem.”

He finally faced me and gave me a tight embrace.

“You shouldn’t be jumping to conclusions, okay?”

“Yeah…my mistake. I’m sorry.”

“Gwenchana.”I giggled.
