Jonghyun is a senior that attended Ruby High School before transferring over to Sapphire High School. His best friends are Yonghwa, Jungshin, and Minhyuk. The four of them were together in a band. Jonghyun's passion for music died down at the same time his passion for basketball grew. His tough decision between music and basketball was made easier once his father announced that his family would be moving to Seoul because of his new job. As fate would have it, Jonghyun suffers an injury that makes him decide between music and basketball once again.

Yoona is a senior that attends Sapphire High School. She is a cheerleader for Sapphire High School with eight other girls. The students refer to the nine cheerleaders as SNSD. She is a very bright and outgoing person but has a surprisingly cold side to her. Because of her beauty, boys confess to her left and right. She eventually got tired of all the confessions and SNSD encouraged her to start acting cold around guys. She is also currently a trainee at SM Entertainment with the other eight girls of SNSD.
