Hi, I'm the Tree of Life.

I'm basically the Yin to the Yang. The light to the dark. I'm the hero to the villan. good to the evil. All the cliches.

I'm a God.

I'm the God.

I'm the reason you feel joy when you blew out the candles on your fourth birthday.

I found your cat when she got stuck under the house.

I dropped the money on the pavement when you couldn't afford that coffee.

I convinced that man to give back your car keys when you lost them on a park bench.

I am the reason for your smiles.

For your beauty.

For your happiness. 

Except you don't always feel happy, do you?

Sometimes you feel sadness.

Sometimes you lose your wallet and it never returns.

Sometimes your computer crashes wihtout saving your essay.

Sometimes people die.

People you care about.

That isnt me.

Thats the Dark.

The Dark is another God.

Its the other god.

The Dark is basically the Yang to my Yin. The dark to my light. Its the villan to my hero. The evil to my good.

Because you can't have everything good all the time.

That would just be unfair.

Usually we keep balance.

Thats when you have good moments and bad moments, but overall you're pretty satisfied with life.

And I'm happy with that.

But the Dark, the Dark is greedy.

The Dark wants more darkness in the world.

So everyday, the Dark tries to kill me.

And I run.

But its catching up.

And I'm afraid of what will happen when it catches up.

Did I mention that I'm only a tree?

So thats why I used my power in your world.

I used it twelve times.

Twelve boys. Twelve powers.

My protectors.

And now, they need to protect me.

I'd say 'God help them'

But God already did.
