Donghae tosses and turns in his bed. He feels really sick and breaks out in a sweat. He really wants to go see Hyukjae and have him take care of him but he is worried about getting him sick. Besides, he knows how much he needs his sleep. He doesn't want to keep Hyukjae up all night taking care of him. However, he doesn't know what to do to make himself feel better. If only he could fall asleep.

After rolling around in bed for most of the night he finally accepts that he isn't going to fall asleep. He gets up and makes his slow way to the washroom and turns on the tap. He splashes some water onto his face to clear away the sweat. Then Donghae decides to change into a fresh pair pajamas so he goes back to his room. He takes of his shirt and pants and puts of the bottoms of another pair of pajama pants. He forgoes the shirt since he was getting hot in bed earlier.

Donghae sits on his bed with his head between his legs. He takes deep breaths and tries to ignore the nausea. He glances over at the time and sees that it is 3:58 AM. He groans softly and keeps thinking of Hyukjae but he really doesn't want to bother him. He isn't sure his resolve is going to hold though. The next thing he knows someone is saying his name in surprise and concern. He looks up to see Sungmin standing there and realizes he forgot to close the door when he came back into his room from the bathroom.

"Are you okay, Donghae?" Sungmin asked.

"I'm fine. Just having trouble sleeping." Donghae said weakly.

"You're a terrible liar." Sungmin said as he entered the room. "What's wrong?"

After Sungmin sat down on the bed next to him, Donghae gave in and told him the truth.

"I'm not feeling well." Donghae said. "I think I have a fever."

"That's not good! Why don't you get some rest." Sungmin said. "I'll stay and take care of you."

"No, I don't want to bother you." Donghae protested.

"...Is that why you aren't with Hyuk right now?"

"W-What are you talking about?"

"Come on, Donghae, we all know you go to him first. You two are really close. Besides, it's so obvious that you like him."

"Eh? What are you talking about?"

"I'm pretty sure he's the only one who doesn't know. Anyway, that's not the point. If you're sick and you want to be with him you should just go to him. I know you want him to take care of you and all that. Hyuk's not going to be upset with you, he never is. It's not like it will be the first time you woke him up early in the morning and usually it's to go out somewhere with you so there really is no reason for you not to ask him to take care of you when that's what you want."

"B-But, I don't want him to get sick."

"...You know, he's going to know you're sick tomorrow and what do you think will happen then. He's going to take care of you whether you want him to or not. Hyuk isn't concerned about getting sick, he just wants you to get better. He would go to you if the situation was reversed so you should let him take care of you too. Especially since you yourself want that, neh?"

"Yeah, you're right... Thanks Sungmin!" Donghae said and gave him a quick hug before getting up. "I'll go see Hyukkie now!"

"Good. Try to get some rest, okay?"

"I will, good night Sungmin!"

"Good night, Donghae."

Sungmin smiled and watched as Donghae left his room. Then he got up and went to the kitchen for a glass of water like he had intended to do before he noticed Donghae. He wondered if he could con any money off of any of the members on a bet that Hyukjae and Donghae will be cuddling by the time they return home after their schedule for the day.
