Seol's life changed when her parents got killed in a horrible accident when she was in her first year in high school. The guilt doubled when her best friends’ parents and younger brother also died in that same car crash. Yura never blamed Seol but the guilt remained. Seol became more reserved and quiet. Yura, on the other hand tried to move on and promised Seol's parents that she will always be by her side no matter what. 

After 4 years, fresh from graduating high school, and away from Busan, Yura and Seol entered SM University of Performing Arts in Seoul. Seol wanted to enter this school because her older brother also studied here. He is the one who influenced Seol in her interest in music, particularly in learning the guitar. Yura on the other hand entered this school because her mother wanted her to be a professional dancer, which is her passion ever since she was young. Her younger brother loves to see her dance which makes her more passionate in her field.
