Best friends are suppose to stick together, right? But what happen if that so call best friend decide to leave you. What would you do?

I didn't know what to do when he left me. When we started high school, he'd change a lot. He started hanging out with the popular kids and ignore me. I tried to talk to him but he always blow me off. Was it because I was weird? But that didn't stop him from being my friend in middle school so why now? I was really confuse. There was only thing that I could do. I let him go. You know what they say, if you love someone, set them free. If they come back they're yours. Yup, I fell in love with my best friend and I hope that he'll come back to me but it's been four years now and nothing had change. I guess it's not meant to be or is it?
