A sigh left the brunette’s lips as she reached her hand into the pocket of her jacket and searched for the key that could open the door she was standing in front of. When she found the item she shifted over the bag she was holding in her other hand to the one with the key, and let the key go over to that hand before she reached it up towards the lock. She saw it went in and she twisted it and heard the click as the door unlocked. She put the key back into her jacket pocket before she entered the apartment.

It was dark inside, no sound except from the low sound from a TV that was . Her eyes caught the sight of some light coming from the living room, which proved to her it was the TV in there that was on.

She let her free hand brush through her brown locks as she took off her shoes in the foyer before she begun shuffling towards the living room. As she got closer she got it confirmed it really was the TV that was on. A drama was shown on it she concluded before she let her eyes wander around the room to see if the person that had been watching TV was still there.

Her eyes landed on a woman that was lying on the couch. By the rhythmic breathing she could see the woman was only sleeping, and wasn’t dead.

A frown appeared on her lips and she shifted the position of the strap of the bag in her hold. She glanced at the woman one last time before she turned around and started to make her way down the hallway towards one of the doors that was closed. The door was filled with posters of different bands and artists, and a sign that read “Taeyeon”. The brunette twisted the doorknob of that door and entered the room.

She halted as she entered the room and looked around it. The bed was neatly made, the books were on the bookshelves, and the laptop was on desk next to a pile of other books and papers. Nothing was on the floor except for a pair of slippers by the bed. Nothing was touched. It looked exactly like she had left it.

She closed the door behind her and made her way towards her bed. Her bag dropped to the floor prior to her body dropping onto the bed. Her hands clutched the covers and her chest heaved before she let out a long sigh.

She was back. After saying she wouldn’t come back she had actually come back. Another sigh was released and she turned to lie on her back.

Had anyone missed her when she had been gone? She turned her head towards her bedside table where she caught the sight of her cellphone. She grabbed it and noticed it had no battery, which wasn’t that big of a surprise. She rolled onto her side and grabbed the chord to the charger and plugged it into the phone. Soon she would see if anyone had missed her presence.
