Love At Lost (HIATUS)
Description
Ten years later, Kim Jongdae reflects on how he met the love of his life. The only problem is, his current lover is not her. Jongdae still finds it mysterious that she had disappared on their wedding day, never to return or to be in contact with anyone. This is the story on their first meetings, their obstacles, and the disappearance of the woman he loved.
Characters:
Kim Jongdae (Chen): In flashbacks, he is a junior in high school. At present, he is around 27 years old. He's very loyal to his best friend, Baekhyun, and he looks out for him. What he doesn't tell his best friend, though, is that he's fallen in love with the same girl.
Byun Baekhyun: He is Chen's best friend, and he is also a junior in high school. He is 27 years old, and as of the present, Chen and Baekhyun have not been around each other. He is in love with Song Lina and is the first to date her.
Song Lina: She is the new girl, also a junior in high school. She had transferred schools due to family reasons, and she is focus on the long triangle. Baekhyun is in love with her as well as Chen, but she cannot chose between them, which affects the three relationships.
Foreword
Kim Jongdae was fastening his cufflinks, staring down at the picture of him and his ex-fiance. The two were by the garden, giving out V-signs and grinning from ear to ear. Jongdae always wondered what happened to the two when one moment they were perfectly fine and the next she was out of his life.
"Jongdaeyah!" His girlfriend called for him, and he snapped his attention back to her, smiling and following her.
"Mianhe, Sujiyah." He playfully grimaced when she slapped him, and he wrapped his arm close to her, kissing the temples of her forehead.
"Hurry, or we'll be late for your son's performance." Jongdae loved that kid to death, not only because he was his child, but he resembled the woman he had loved for so many years.
"Coming," he said as the two settled in the car, driving off.
"Jongdaeyah, you never told me about your ex-fiance." He glanced over at his curious girlfriend who was fidgeting with her fingers. "What was she like?"
He smiled while focusing his eyes on the road, though his mind was elsewhere. "To be honest, she was absolutely perfect. She was charming, sweet, and she always seemed to smile at any situation. I was always fond of her, and she and I got along so well. There was never anything akward between us, and our conversations would always carry out for hours. She's my soulmate, and it always bothers me that she left." He whispered the latter, glancing at his girlfriend to see how she would take it.
"What was her name?"
"Song Lina," he managed to say the name he hasn't spoken since their wedding day.

Disclaimer: As far as I'm concerned, this is original! At first, I was going to make a one shot about Chen talking to his child on how he met his wife, but it seemed a lot like How I Met Your Mother. And on the spot, I came up with this idea! Does it sound okay? I hope so.
I'll do my best to update well on this. It's just that school is about to start, and I'm angry at myself for starting another story... This time it's Chen! I was going to do Baekhyun, but I already have two stories on him, and I thought it would annoy people if I had another Baekhyun story...
It turns out that while I was startin to write the first chapter, I made Baekhyun be a main character as well. He's the best friend of Chen. He's gonna make the perfect role for a love triangle. <3
