The city lights shone like stars on the dark horizon, street lights dotted the abandoned streets. A light breeze rustled through Chanyeol's hair as he sat on the swing on the balcony of his gigantic house.

In his arms snuggled a sleeping Baekhyun, the smaller had his face buried in Chanyeol's chest. His breathing in sync with the rise and fall of the taller's chest. He had fell asleep watching the city's night view with Chanyeol.

Chanyeol removed his gaze from the view of the city and glanced at his lover. Oh how lucky he felt to have Baekhyun beside him. They've been dating for three months now and everything's perfect. Since Chanyeol's parents were never home, he made the smaller sleep over at his house almost everyday. Baekhyun's parents were ok with it, they accepted Chanyeol easily, for they knew their son's ual preference.

Even though Baekhyun and Chanyeol are only seniors in high school and they don't have a house together, they basically live together now.

Chanyeol remembered how hard it was to convince his strict father to accept their relationship.

FLASHBACK:

"Father," Chanyeol called to his father the morning after he got caught in the pool with Baekhyun. "Please allow me to date Baekhyun," Chanyeol asked calmly, not wanting to get on his bad side.

His father seemed to be deep in thought, after a long consideration, the elder sighed and finally spoke, "only under one condition."

"What is it?"

"You will only be allowed to date Baekhyun for one year. After one year is over, you will have to break up with him. Your relationships never lasted longer than 3 months anyways."

BACK TO PRESENT:

Chanyeol laughed, his father was wrong. It's been three months now and they're still together. He remembered how he had agreed, it's true, his relationships don't last long. But he hopes this one will last as long as possible.

One year... he has one year to treasure Baekhyun.

When the time is up, he'll just have to find another way to make him stay. He did not tell Baekhyun yet, for they still had time. They're safe, for now.

Chanyeol gazed lovingly at his sleeping lover in his arms. He never gets tired of seeing Baekhyun's beauty, his brown hair, puppy eyes, cute nose, and those pink, tempting lips. He reached out to brush a strand of lose hair out of the smaller's face.

His gaze lingered on the smaller's lips, slightly pouting in his sleep. The sight made Chanyeol smile. He leaned down gently, afriad to wake Baekhyun.

Just when he was less than an inch away, he paused and gave one last look at Baekhyun before he closed his eyes. He gently pressed his lips on Baekhyun's.

When Chanyeol pulled away, Baekhyun's eyes were wide open, his lips slightly apart from surprise. A blush was visible on the smaller's cheeks despite the lack of light.

Chanyeol chuckled at his cute boyfriend.

A cool night breeze passed by, making the trees rustle.

"It's getting cold, let's go sleep inside," Chanyeol said.

"Ok."

They walked inside hand in hand, a wide smile plastered on Baekhyun's face. He just loved being woke up with a kiss.
