Prologue

It didn’t matter if she was tired. It didn’t matter if her legs begging to stop. She kept going, further and further away.  She just had to. The footsteps trailing behind her began slowing down, and now she could no longer hear the vicious yells of the men in white. Her jet black hair running with the wind and she lets out a breath that she’s been holding in for so long. She turns into a busy street, too panicked to realise the strange looks from the few passer-by. She hears the familiar shouting all over again.

‘We found her! Intersection of the main street!’ 1 man yells to another.

Her eyes close for a mere second and she quickens her feet, not once stopping. Her legs about to die on her, as her eyes finally peer open to look for an opportunity to escape. There she spots an open window. She has no choice. Quick on her feet, she jumps in, landing on the hard timber floors where she takes one last breath.

She knew it. She made it out. She escaped. And everything went black.
