" So.. our new neighbours will be here soon.." said Daehyun smiling as he wandered round his house. The 8 year old boy was quite lonely. He did have a teddy bear he considered his best friend. But being the friendly social butterfly he was, he wanted interraction. 

" How should I greet them? Should i bow then say 'hi' or 'welcome' or... Just smile?"  he wondered tripping over his own feet as he hurried to peer out the window. " What if it's a shy girl? Nah. I can handle that. What if it's a baby? Maybe i can babysit! What if it's an emo?" shuddered Daehyun watching his neighbour mowing the lawn. Excitement coursed through him as the house on the right was being loaded with boxes. He couldn't wait.

" Daehyun! Bad bad boy! Let's go wash up before our new neighbours arrive! Ha! Trying to hide from mummy eh? Well this mum can track you from your scent!" came his mothers voice as he was easily picked up and taken away for his morning bath amidst his complaints and whines.

Finally! They had come. He had seen the black car pull into the driveway. He had watched excitedly as a woman got down. " Daehyun! Where are my glasses!" came his mother's voice. " I buried it mum. To see whether it'll grow into a spectacle tree.'' said the cheeky boy eyes still rained on his neighbours house.

"..... WHAAAAAAT??!!!!! YOU HORRID CHILD!!!" came his mother's voice and he was whisked away just as the passenger seat door opened. " NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!" he screamed. " Last time you buried my certficates and medals!!!! aaarrrgh!!!!" wailed his mother raising the small child to her eye level to intimidate him. Daehyun stared at his mum before grinning and poking her eye. " AAAAAARGH!" she screamed.

' Finally! Finally i get to see them!'  thought Daehyun as he held onto his mother's hand as they made it to their neighbour's house to welcome them. " Daehyun... Where is my wedding ring?" asked his father as they rang the bell of the neighbours place. " Oh... I threw it into the pond to see how deep it is. You see dad, you and mum always told me not to jump in it cause it's deep but you never told me how deep, so i thought to find out myself! It's not that deep cause i could see the gold's glint." said the kid grinning at his gaping dad.

" .......... YOU LITTLE---"

The door opened and a pale woman and a boy came into view.

" ... Uh... hi." said Mrs Jung regaining herself. " We.. are your neighbours." she said jabbing her thumb towards their home. " I'm Mrs Jung, my husband Mr Jung and our horri--- uh.. son Daehyun." she said pointing at them.  

" Good day.." said Mr Jung though his face said elsewise.

" Oh. Hello! I'm Mrs Bang and this is my son Yongguk!" said the lady smiling.

Daehyun was examining the boy before him. He looked annoyed with his arms crossed as he glared at Daehyun. 'Ok.. Looks like its a tough nut but hey! I can befriend him. He seems nice! ... Sorta ' thought the kid. 

" Hi! I'm Daehyun and i'm 8 years old! What about you?" asked Daehyun smiling.

There was a pause. Then,

" off loser."
