Kim Woobin- He is a very filial son and had been living his father’s will.  As his father passes his legacy to his son, he is now then required to live in two different worlds at the same time.  He is a very close friend of Shinhye and building his own legacy involves Shinhye more than he imagined.

Shinhye- She is a girl full of dreams but is afraid to take risks to make her dreams come true until one day when an unfortunate incident made her forget her dreams. This made her lose her courage and now causes her to be contented on whatever comes her way. She then lives to earn money to support her family until she met Alex. As she learns more about herself, she takes on another journey turning her life upside-down.

Kris- He is the younger brother of Cindy and he loves his sister so much. He is very mature for his age, and this triggered ever since Cindy’s unfortunate incident. He then dedicated his life to protect her sister. He felt he had to be stronger for his sister and he is overly protective of her. When Shinhye had to study to the city, he planned to follow her but she made it clear that he should finish his studies first. Although Shinhye now all grown up in his’ eyes she is still a sister he needs to protect so he really works hard to follow her to the City.

Things are not really going well for Shinhye a this time. She was temporarily staying with her friend after she was kicked out of her place because it was suddenly sold for reconstruction. At the same time her brother-Kris is moving in the city to stay with her and to study with the same university as hers. She needs to find a higher paying job or other jobs inorder to support her and Kris. The thing she is most worried about is Kris' instinct regarding her protection. He has his reasons in having so but for Shinhye its kind of bothering her. You can say that Kris is obsessed with her protection ever since that unfortunate incident when Shinhye was in danger a long time ago. With his young mind that incident triggered him to be really protective of her since she had been with him and his father as they grew up without their mother. Its been two years since they last saw each other for she had to move into the city for her studies. Kris actually was unresolved with this but decided that he should let go of his sister until he comes to study in the city with her. Shinhye thought that she had only this worries on her hands until she meets Kim Woobin. She has no idea how Woobin changes her life 180 degrees once he enterd her life. The more her life involves Kim Woobin the more she learns more of her real identity and the life she was destined to live.
