There was this guy named Chanyeol who lived alone in Incheon, Seoul while his mother stayed in countryside still mourning over his husband death. Chanyeol’s father died when he was doing his duty at the field. He was nearly succeeded in capturing the mafia bosses that were discussing about an illegal business, but he was caught when he was slipping into the room and immediately shot by one of the bosses. His father was a great and brave cop that everyone in the department adored him. So did his son.

Since his father’s death, he had been trying harder than before to enter the police department. He wanted to take revenge over his father’s death by joining the police department. He had planned if he were accepted he would secretly find the information about his father’s murderer and kill that murderer by his own hands.

The last month of summer when the autumn started to make its way, Chanyeol’s mother followed his husband and left Chanyeol alone.

3 months full of sorrow and suffering later, the determined Chanyeol officially entered the police department as a trainee. As the Heaven had arranged, Chanyeol and his fellow trainee cops were assigned to find a mafia boss child who were hiding and protect him. They were given a task without knowing the reason. They found there was nothing important to protect a mafia boss’ child. But Chanyeol thought it was the best way to get through the mafia world, he made a commitment to succeed his first task so that he would be promoted in another mafia related case then he would easily find the one who killed his father.

There was this guy named Baekhyun who lived in Mapo, Seoul with his guardian who didn’t have any blood relation, Joonmyun. From the outside, he looked like another young teens around him, but the truth was that he was a son of the most powerful mafia in Korea. Although his father had died, he had Joonmyeon on his side who was also taking the position controlling the gang.

When his father’s mafia gang old crisis rose up for the second time, Joonmyun had to leave Baekhyun alone surviving in street. Baekhyun who knew everything that was happening couldn’t even go to his relatives or friends, he knew he was a danger to them.

In desperation and cold night wind that blew around him, fate decided him to meet the most beautiful human being. Those dark orbs of his savior somehow convinced him that everything was going to be better, and Baekhyun believed it until the truth decided to scramble the faith and hope that they both had been longing for.

Author's Note ► hi guys, i'm a newbie in writing fic, so i hope you guys could considerate either my mistakes or my lack parts. i will update once a week, and if i'm not busy i will update twice a week.

this fic includes another pairings like hunhan, kaisoo, taoris, and sulay but the pairings i'll be given in bonus chapters because i want to focus mainly on chanbaek. there will be in some parts and i don't know whether to mark the rated m option.

this fic is pure my idea and i haven't read any fics that have the same plot or storyline like mine, so i would really appreciate if someone don't copy or do plagiarism of my stories.
