The Beginning of ‘The Wolf's Tale’

-Prologue-

10.26 P.M, Monday, 2nd March 1505. Lucidas’ Village.

It’s a calm, very very calm night in the small village called ‘Lucidas’ Village’

‘Lucidas’ Itself means ‘Little Wolf’ in Greeks, The villagers named this village as ‘Lucidas’ Village’ because before this area became a Village, the olders said that there are so many wolves living here before those pack of wolves decided to move out into the thick forest nearby.

And in the particular small, yet beautiful house beside a big Inn, A small family which consist A father and His Daugher are in the room, trying to catch some rest from the tiring activity they did in the morning.

“Dara, you’re not going to sleep, baby?” Jay Park, Sandara’s father ask his 5 years old daughter. They’re just laying on his bed, trying to get some sleep.

She stared at her father then shook her head softly. “I can’t appa.. Tell me a story, tell me a story!” She excitedly requested her father.

“Alright, what do you want?” He trailed. “Hansel and Gretel? Snow white? Cinderella?”

“Noo, You already told me all of these..” She whined. “Appa, Can you tell me something else?”

Jay sighed. “Alright, I will tell you a story. A scary one, Are you going to be afraid? If it yes, then I won’t tell you.”

“Ani, Dara is brave. Tell me Appa, tell me!” She jumped on the bed, suddenly getting excited.

“Aisht okay, okay. Stop jumping..” Jay ordered her softly.

She grinned and stopped her jumping show.

He his daughter’s soft hair lovingly. “Once upon a time..” He started.

Dara fall back on her pillow to hear her daddy’s story.

“There lived a very very strong God named Lycaon. He was so strong yet so evil. He likes to kill human with his super power.”

“But I thought Gods should be generous, appa?” Dara ask him curiously.

“Yes it should. But there’s an exception for Lycaon. He used to be good and generous, Dee, But I don’t know too, He turned into an evil like that.” He answered.

Dara nodded. “Alright, continue appa!”

He her hair again before kissing her forehead. “After murdering about 10.000 humans, The other Gods are feeling so troubled with his action. One of The God even called him as Demon, not ‘God’ Anymore.” Jay continued. “Then.. All the Gods were made an agreement. They are going to make Lycaon dissapear.”

She gasped. “Really?”

“Hmm.” Jay nod. “Because he broke the rule Dara. God shouldn’t killing people or being an evil. So all the Gods were allied to fight against Lycaon.”

Jay pinched Dara’s cheeks. “Are you getting sleepy, baby?”

“Yes, But please keep continue, I’m curious appa..”

“Okay, okay..” Jay laughed. “Then, all the gods were so shocked when the battle begun. Because they didn’t expect that Lycaon would be so strong. They failed to make him dissapear.” He trailed. “But, There’s a one God who was stronger than Lycaon, He cursed Lycaon and it did work.”

“Cursed him into what, appa?”

“He cursed Lycaon into a wolf. Then it happened, Lycaon being a supernatural wolf. They are all thinking that when Lycaon being a wolf, his super power would be dissapear as well, but they’re wrong. Lycaon is still alive in a body of wolf, but his wickedness and his greatness still lingering inside him as well.” Jay continued his story, “Lycaon then became a Demon who was living in a body of big wolf. It has a beautiful white furs, with the bright red eyes. He’s the strongest wolf alive, and.. fortunate for him, he became an immortal.”

“Really? Immortal?”

“Yes, And his crime continued after that, Dara. Lycaon turned some people around him into werewolves. Some of the werewolves are bad just like Lycaon and some of them are good too. But The good one are just a little..”

“What? Werewolves are exist for real, appa!?”

“Maybe yes..” Jay answered. “Lycaon was the first one who made people into werewolves. But the great news, Dara, Lycaon was locked inside a holy book. Eventhough he’s immortal, but as long as he was locked, everything would be alright.  A very strong old wizard succed on locking him inside a book which was sealed by some mantra.”

“So, Lycaon was locked now, appa? And the werewolves are already gone too right? There is no werewolves anymore, right?”

Jay sighed. “Werewolves are living like human too, Dara. They are not immortal. They has a mate, then they will do the mating session and having children. They are like humans, Married, having chilren, having family..” He trailed. “And yes, Lycaon was locked... but unfortunately, There was a very greedy werewolf who wants to be stroger than before, so he sealed the book open and let Lycaon to be free after 500 years locked inside a book. He wants Lycaon to possess him so he will be the strongest werewolf alive.”

“What? So.. is it mean that...”

“Yes, Lycaon and the rest of the werewolves are still alive up until now. They lived in the deepest part of the unknown and forbidden woods, Dara. They hunts and kills people who disturbed their peace. So, I hope you could guard yourself from now on and never went to the forest all alone, neh? You know, every dangerous things could be happened in the forest. There is so many evil creatures living there.”

Dara smiled. “Neh appa.”

“Alright, now can we sleep, baby? I hope my scary story won’t scare you, baby. Sleep tight.” Jay kissed her forehead and pulled her closer to him, hugging her tight then slowly drift off to the dreamland.

But the little Dara still couldn’t sleep. She’s still imagining the possible things that could happen out of there.

She’s still thinking about the story that her father just told her.

The story about a scary demon who was living as supernatural wolf named Lycaon.

The Wolf 'sTale.

Are you surprised with the background's time? Yep, I'm using 1500's year.

I'm crazy right?

And see? Dara's father is Jay Park, Yes, The hot Jay Park.

And for the clarification, I did search it.

Lycaon is the name of God who was turned into a wolf because of Hades' curse.

(Or Zeus, I'm not sure because the first source said it was Hades, and the second one said it was Zeus)

And for Lucidas, I search it too. Lucidas means little wolf in Greeks languange.

But don't you ever forget that this is a fictional story^^
