Celebrations open every year with dance ceremonies at Gyeonbok Palace. This year reporters Xiumin and his assistant Namjoo are invited to stay with the Performance Arts School at the palace to observe preparations for the festival. Things turn for the worse when nightmares leave Namjoo struggling for a normal life and a childhood bully wants her fired. Just as Namjoo has her own secrets, the palace has its own. Unable to reincarnate, wandering spirit Chorong finds her escape in Namjoo. When she turns Chorong away, it only gets worse. Chorong battles herself between good and evil; between greed and selflessness for peace and revenge when her reincarnated husband-to-be, Luhan, appears with the rival who took her life. Once Namjoo's body starts to suffer from Chorong's posessions, can she even be saved?
