Chanyeol woke up lazily on his bed, realizing that it's indeed still the honeymoon period in his marriage life. Well, not really though. He's been married to the love of his life, Choi Jinri, for a month and a week now. And he could never stopped saying thanks to God for making him the most lucky guy in this world to let him have his Jinri. And speaking of the woman, he didn't see her yet on their bed. Her side on the bed left empty with the messy blanket. 

"Jinri? Honey?" he called her, but no respond. 

Chanyeol changed his position from sleeping to sitting, checking on his phone he put on the nightstand. There were several calls and texts, oh... Jongin happened to tell him about his night. Again, he couldn't sleep last night for his wife kept asking him to buy him food she never eaten before. Pregnant woman is truly troublesome, Chanyeol thought. Chanyeol still scrolled down his phone, checking on any update he should be catching up before heading to the bathroom and get ready for work.

He was into the news of some new company emerging in the online industry, one of his favorite kind of news, when he felt someone sitting on his lap. Jinri, his wife, still on her white night dress – hair messily put into a short bun at the top of her head – sitting on his lap with both of her legs fell on his side. Her hands clung on his shoulder and she just smiled as she looked at him with a happy beaming eyes.

If there’s anything, anything Chanyeol loves from his wife, then it would be the lovely stare she gave to him. And now that she looked at him with those stares, he knew that she must have been up to something.

“What’s up?” he asked as he looked at her. Jinri couldn’t stop smiling widely even though she already bit her lower lip. Chanyeol waited and waited but the words didn’t come out from , instead, she wrapped herself around him and gave him a sweet kiss on his lips.

He loves it a lot when her smooth lips touched his and the way she moved her lips made him feeling a little shiver. They’re young and recently just married, and of course, they had been ually active around each other for quite some time now. So for her kissing him like that, he felt perfectly fine and enjoyed the kiss. He was just started to deepen the kiss and ran his fingers to her thigh when she softly pulled away from him.

“What’s with the kiss?” he asked, smiling happily as he looked at her swollen pink lips.

Jinri let out a chuckle and then smiled again. He’s kind of impatient now. He loves her smile, but if she kept smiling like that without talking…

“I’m pregnant”

Jinri said with a happy tone and she couldn’t stop pressing her smile as she looked at her husband. Chanyeol blinked his eyes several times upon hearing her words.

I’m pregnant.

Pregnant.

Preg/ing/nant.  

“Honey?” she called him. He barely breathed and could n't think well.

She’s pregnant.

And he’s not amused at all.

This is actually a part of my story here. I made it based on the request on my ask.fm. The one that I linked was released in Bahasa Indonesia, my native language. 

But for this Chanlli story, I want to develop it in English. Hopefully things go well so I could finish the short Chanlli and the baby story. It will came in a form of short story, every chapter won't be a continuous event. So it would be more like the story of Chanlli and their baby along with what the young couple do as a newbie parent on raising their only baby boy.
