Chapter Forty-One

Being With You

Daniella fiddled with the bottom of her shirt as she looked out the window, she watched the snowflakes gracefully fall to the ground. ‘Why would they think I would do anything for men? Do I look like that type of girl?’ Daniella thought as she replayed the man’s words in her head over and over again. “I’m not that type of girl!” Daniella said out loud.

Luhan looked over to the passenger seat, he saw the stressed look on Daniella's face. He reached out for Daniella's hand. “I know you’re not” Luhan glanced back and forth from the road to Daniella. Daniella shook her head. “Daniella those guys won’t touch you okay? As long as I’m around you're safe” Luhan tried to comfort Daniella.

“I know I can always count on you Luhan. But I don’t understand why they thought I would do those kind of things. I mean I was wearing the same thing as the other girls, what made me so different to think I'm that type of girl?” Daniella bit her bottom lip.

“Forget about them Daniella, just think about the great time you'll be having with me” Luhan said but didn’t budge. “Think about all the food I have in my fridge just for you” Luhan said, he watched the frown on Daniella's face quickly fade into a bright smile. “You’re going to love what I have planned for you” Luhan made a quick turn.

“I’m excited to see” Daniella's eyes widened as Luhan pulled into the driveway. Daniella couldn't stop looking at the massive home, it even had a huge water fountain outside. Bushes, trees and statues were all covered in glistening white snow. “That's your house?” Daniella knew that Luhan was rich, but his house just showed how wealthy he really was.

“Come on, your home is almost as big” Luhan pulled into the garage.

“True, I have many mansions across the world and unlimited rooms at a hotel” Daniella flaunted, she smiled and flicked her hair teasingly. Luhan laughed. He quickly got out the car and went to open the door for Daniella. “Ah my Prince Charming” Daniella grabbed Luhan's hand and stepped out of the car. She saw the other five expensive looking cars in the garage. “Too bad you’re not into classics, like I am” Daniella said.

“Hey, those aren't my cars and also your style in cars is worse than mine. Come on a Volkswagen beetle?” Luhan shook his head. Daniella punched his arm, but they held hands as they walked inside. Daniella took off her shoes and followed Luhan like a lost puppy. “Everyone” Luhan yelled making the staff look at him. “This is Daniella, my girlfriend” Luhan announced proudly.

Daniella instantly blushed, “Oh Luhan she's a cutie” a chubby old lady went up to Daniella and pinched her cheeks. “She sure is a keeper” The woman said making Daniella become shy. Luhan wrapped his arm around Daniella's waist and pecked her cheek. “Ah young love” The old women giggled with some of the maids.

“Luhan where is the bathroom?” Daniella asked.

“Under the stairs, front entrance” Luhan said, Daniella respectfully bowed to everyone before she left the room. “If you don’t mind, I'll be using the kitchen to cook for Daniella” some maids squealed while butlers chuckled.

“Our little baby deer is growing up so fast” The butler fake cried and Luhan rolled his eyes. “We'll do anything to make sure everything is perfect” The butler said and Luhan smirked.

By the time Daniella got back she noticed that no one was around. “Luhan?” Daniella called. She heard the faint sound of Luhan’s voice calling for her. Daniella went into the kitchen and was surprised to see Luhan in an apron chopping tomatoes. “I was in there for two minutes and you're already cooking something for me?” Daniella sat on the stool. “I have the best boyfriend ever” Daniella leaned over and kissed his lips.

Luhan pulled back and continued to chop up tomatoes, while Daniella sneakily took a piece of tomato and popped it into . Luhan put some olive oil and some seasonings into a bowl with the chopped tomatoes. “Try this” Luhan handed Daniella a spoon full, she opened letting Luhan feed her. “So, what you think?” Luhan asked.

“Good but it needs hot sauce” Daniella took the spoon and continued to eat more.

Luhan took the bowl away from Daniella making her frown and on the spoon. “No more or there won’t be enough” Luhan also took the spoon out of Daniella's mouth and threw it into the kitchen sink. Luhan walked over to the fridge and took out the chicken then placed it on the counter. He then looked through the kitchen and found bread crumbs with other seasonings. “I hope you like chicken parmesan” Luhan smiled.

“Do you want me to help with anything?” Daniella got off her seat and wrapped her arms around Luhan’s neck. Luhan couldn't help but take hold of Daniella's hips and slowly sway back and forth. He let his hormones take over and started to make out with Daniella. “You know I love to cook food as much as I love to eat it” Daniella pecked Luhan's lips one more.

“Great so you can take care of the pasta” Luhan handed Daniella a pot. Daniella took the pot and placed it under the sink and filled it with water. Afterwards she moved it to the stove top and put it on to boil. Daniella looked in the pantry for pasta, but couldn't find it. “Hey where-” before Daniella could finish her sentence Luhan held the pasta in front of her.

“Looking for this?” Luhan waved the pasta in the air before he tossed it to Daniella. Luhan chuckled as he saw how Daniella and he worked in the kitchen together so smoothly. “Pepper?” Luhan asked and Daniella gave him the pepper, she didn’t even to turn to face Luhan. Both put their dishes together with the pasta and the pan fried chicken.

Luhan took the plates and walked out of the kitchen. “Hey where are you going with my food?” Daniella asked as she followed Luhan into the back yard. “You want us to eat out there?” Daniella pointed and chuckled. Luhan frowned when he saw what the servants had done for him.

The back yard had white sheets hanging from trees. In the middle was a table nicely decorated with tableware and flowers. However the wind blew as snow fell making them unable to eat outside. “Great the dinner date is ruined” Luhan felt whenever he tried to impress Daniella he always failed.

Daniella took the plates instead and walked away. This time Luhan followed her. “Why don’t we eat here and watch some TV?” Daniella questioned. She placed the plates on the coffee table and sat on the couch. Daniella patted the spot next to her on the couch. Luhan sat down, he the TV and leaned back. “My favourite variety show is playing” Daniella said making Luhan raise the volume.

They sat on the couch casually with their feet up and their plates on their laps. “How did you manage to under cook the pasta?” Luhan frowned. Daniel kicked Luhan and stuck out her tongue. “I mean wow! This is delicious” Luhan filled his mouth with more pasta.

After they finish eating Daniella leaned on Luhan’s chest, he wrapped his arm around her and rubbed little circles on her arm. They didn't say a word as they enjoyed each other's company. ‘Come on Luhan! You can do this. Make the first move, you almost did it in the kitchen. The staff is gone, no one is here to interrupt’ Luhan thought as he swallowed his saliva hard.

Luhan started with small touches on her arm and worked his way up leaving kisses on Daniella's neck. Daniella felt like the little touches were teasing her, she couldn't help but want more. Luhan moved up and started to kiss Daniella on the lips, he slowly pushed Daniella onto the couch making her lay down on her back. He worked up from small kisses on the lips to more kisses, deepening them more and more.

Daniella gladly kissed Luhan back with passion, she felt hot as the moment started to get really heated.  Luhan felt Daniella's hands his chest, he decided to go under Daniella's shirt and feel more of Daniella. ‘I think we're going to do it’ Daniella thought but she couldn't stop feeling nervous about it. ‘Suzy, look what happened to her’ Daniella thought and she made the decision to stop Luhan.

“Stop, Luhan” Daniella breathed. Luhan instantly stopped and pulled away. “I’m sorry...I can’t” Daniella sat up and straightened out her clothes. They sat on the coach and awkwardly looked at one another.

“I thought you gave me the signal, I mean, I swear we were going to do it on the kitchen counter at one point” Luhan was a bit confused, he chuckled to break the silence.

“Look recent events made me think. . . Yes, I want you Luhan more than ever but I don’t want us to rush into things” Daniella reached for Luhan's hand, she was surprised to feel Luhan squeeze her hand. “I know in the past I may have tried to but...” Daniella laughed as she still could barely remember Halloween night. “Know that I love you and I want when we do it to be special, not on a coach” Daniella looked into Luhan's eyes.

“Don’t worry, the guys have been teasing me about it” Luhan laughed uncomfortably. “But I’m willing to wait even until the end of time” Luhan smiled. He didn’t care what the guys thought he only cared that Daniella was happy. ‘She said she loves me’ Luhan heart started to pound.

Daniella leaned in and hugged Luhan. “You may just be the best boyfriend ever” Daniella thought about the secret that she had been hiding from Luhan. ‘I should tell him right now’ Daniella thought.

“Girlfriend?” Daniella and Luhan pulled away from the hug. Luhan's face became pale, he was not expecting his mother to be home. “Listen girl, you stay away from my son. He is engaged to Bae Suzy” Mrs. Xi ranted.

Daniella stood up. “Bae Suzy is dating my brother Oh Sehun ... I don’t understand what you have against me? My family is even more powerful and rich than Suzy's family. My mother is from the Kim family and she married into the Oh family, so please do know who you are talking to.” Daniella crossed her arms as she watched as Mrs. Xi becomes shocked.

“Luhan!” Mrs. Xi started breathed heavily. “You know the consequences” Mrs. Xi made her way up the stairs into her study room.

Daniella noticed Luhan still in his seat looking as pale as a ghost. “I should go” Daniella bent over to peck Luhan on the cheek and left the living room. She was at the garage putting on her shoes when she felt Luhan back hug her.

“Wait” Luhan called for Daniella. “Can you just stay the night?” Luhan said, Daniella raised an eyebrow. “I mean not to do any of that” Luhan shook his head. “I just want you beside me, if you feel uncomfortable I can give you another room...” Luhan was interrupted by Daniella kissing him.

“I'd love to” Daniella smiled. They walked into Luhan's room, she was surprised to see how simple his room was. Luhan went to the closet and got Daniella a t-shirt and a pair of boxers. Daniella started to change in front of Luhan making him feel hot so he looked away. When Daniella was dressed she slipped under the covers. “Are you coming?” Daniella asked.

Luhan nodded, he took off his shirt and pants leaving him in his wife beater and boxers. Luhan got into bed, and they got comfortable with each other. Daniella rested her head on Luhan’s chest, their legs tangled with each other. Instantly their eyes felt heavy and their bodies started to relax with each other's presence.
