Fighting for Love

Luhan watched Daniella being pulled away by Jimin, who seemed to be bad news. He noticed Daniella never took her eyes off of him. She finally gave up and started pulling back, however Jimin's grip tightened making Daniella cry out. Her knees became weak and she fell to the ground. Daniella looked back at Luhan ‘Is this it?’ Daniella asked herself. Luhan followed getting closer, he noticed the evident fear in Daniella's eyes. ‘She looks so scared’ Luhan's anger boiled.

Luhan balled his fists up as he stormed up to Jimin and threw a punch, hitting him just below his eye. Jimin's grip on Daniella's hand loosened as the force of Luhan's punch made him stumble back. Luhan helped Daniella stand up, he noticed where her wrist was going white and then turning red from the tight grip Jimin had on her. “Luhan leave it, please” Daniella begged.

Luhan could see the fear in Daniella's eyes “It’s okay” Luhan reassured her. However, when Luhan looked at Jimin he was glaring back. ‘He looks really dangerous, How does Daniella know him?’ Luhan thought but he when he felt how Daniella held onto him, shaking with fear, he knew what he had to do.

“Why don’t we take this outside to the parking lot?” Jimin smirked. Luhan swallowed his salvia hard and nodded. The two walked out to the parking lot, Daniella followed right behind Luhan. ‘This is not good, I used to always end up in the hospital because of Jimin’. Daniella feared her ex, she knew what he was capable of. ‘I don’t want to be the old me, but for Luhan I will do anything’ Daniella looked at Jimin who just smirked.

“Don't let fear eat you” Daniella told herself in a small whisper, she looked at her hands. They were shaking vigorously, the only way it stopped was if she made them into fists and tightly held them.

“Ahh, I’m going to feel bad damaging that pretty face of yours” Jimin laughed. He turned around and started to throw punches at Luhan. Daniella froze as she saw the look in Jimin's eyes, it was the same look he had when he beat her until she was unconscious. He looked as if he wouldn't stop. Luhan was trying to dodge the punches, however Jimin was too quick. Luhan fell to floor and coughed up some blood. “Down already? this was a pathetic fight” Jimin sniggered.

Luhan stood up, using what he had left in him and charged at Jimin, tackling him to the ground. Luhan pressed Jimin firmly into the ground as he kept punching the guy over and over again, he attacked him with no sense of control. Luhan stopped when he saw Jimin full of cuts and blood was already oozing from his nose. Luhan stood up and wiped the blood on the side of his mouth and heaved out “L-Luhan” Daniella called.

Luhan turned to his right and saw Daniella shivering. ‘I must have scared her’ Luhan panicked. He then started to walk towards Daniella, when he was in right in front of Daniella she closed her eyes. Luhan gently touched Daniella's cheek, making her burst into tears. Daniella closed her eyes and cried into Luhan’s chest. “It’s okay” Luhan rubbed Daniella’s back soothingly.

Luhan's arm was pulled back making him turn towards Jimin, who then punched Luhan again. “Luhan!” Daniella screamed. She noticed Jimin pull out a knife making her freeze. ‘Luhan run!’ Daniella wanted to shout, but she couldn't speak, her head only screamed those words. Fear had taken over her senses, she desperately wanted to shout. Luhan didn’t notice Jimin's weapon, he tried to throw a punch but instead he got his arm sliced. Luhan fell to his knees as Jimin stood over him, smirking. He pulled up his knife which already had Luhan's blood on it. “No” Daniella shouted, she panicked, she had to do something, anything. She saw a brick that had fallen off the wall of the parking lot and smashed a it over Jimin's head.

Jimin fell to the ground unconscious, blood slightly dripping. Daniella pulled Luhan off of the ground, she quickly looked around to see if anyone had seen. “Is he dead?” Luhan is choked, scared to know the answer. 

“Let’s not stay to find out” Daniella and Luhan run over to the motorcycle. Daniella put Luhan’s helmet on for him, they both got on to the motorcycle and drove away from the concert venue. Once they were far enough Daniella pulled over to the curb, she quickly got off the bike. Daniella threw the helmet to the ground and went straight to examine Luhan’s arm. “You're bleeding” Daniella slipped off her shoe and pulled off her sock and wrapped it around Luhan’s arm.

“ah, it’s okay” Luhan said. He looked at Daniella's hands which were still shaking. ‘Daniella please don’t be like this’ Luhan thought. Luhan hugged Daniella with one arm “Come on, let’s just head back to rest?” Luhan suggested.

“Are you kidding me? You need to go to a doctor!” Daniella shouted at Luhan.

“No, my parents can’t find out about this. Even if I go to school they would tell my parents” Daniella looked into Luhan's eyes and saw how worried he was. ‘If my parents find out I was with another girl I'll be in big trouble’ Luhan thought.

Daniella bit down on her lip and looked away. “Fine” she said, she then put her helmet back on and got on the bike. “Hold on tight” Luhan laughed. “Even with one arm” Daniella chuckled. Daniella drove back into the city and went to one of her family's hotels, it was the closest place to treat Luhan.

They walked into the hotel, Luhan hid behind Daniella trying to hide his arm. Daniella went to the front desk, she showed her card “The President room?” the hotel receptionist asked.

“Please, and have a first aid kit in my room in five minutes. No questions asked, got it?” Daniella said in a stern voice. The receptionist nodded and handed Daniella the room key. Daniella smiled and walked to the elevator with Luhan, once inside the elevator Daniella turned to Luhan and examine his arm again. “You’re not bleeding anymore” Daniella was relieved. Luhan smiled, he walked closer to Daniella, she kept taking a step back until she hit the wall. They were inches apart and were about to kiss when the elevator door opened. “Let’s go” Daniella walked out the elevator.

‘Why is my luck so bad tonight?’ Luhan looked at his arm and then at Daniella. He followed Daniella down the hall until they reached a single door in the hall. ‘I'm at a hotel with Daniella alone’ Luhan smirked. They both walked into the room. ‘Wow is this a hotel room?’ Luhan asked himself. The room was open plan with the bedroom on side, a living room in the middle, dining room and a kitchen on the other side.

“Go clean yourself up, they should be here soon with the first aid kit, and I don’t them to be asking questions about you” Daniella ordered Luhan, she waited at the door until someone brought her the kit. Daniella sat on the bed and waited for Luhan.

When Luhan came out of the bathroom, he wore a white robe. Luhan sat next to Daniella, he let her clean his arm and bandage it. It was silent between the two, no one said a word. When Daniella placed the finishing touches on the bandage, she wiped away her tears. “Jimin, who is he to you?” Luhan asked making Daniella fidget at the sound of his name. “You should tell me these things, I am your boyfriend” Luhan spoke soothingly.

Daniella stood up and crossed her arms, she paced back and forth. “You want to know about my tragic life? fine” Daniella huffed. She wanted to move on from the past but it seemed like she couldn’t. “Park Jimin was my first boyfriend, I thought I was in love. We did everything together even if it meant breaking the law. He used to beat me and force himself on me, I escaped when I moved to America. That is where I met Lee Donghae, who my mother loved dearly, too bad he was such a baby” Daniella laughed as she remembered her beating him in a soccer game, he cried like a little girl.

“Daniella” Luhan was speechless, he pulled Daniella back onto the bed to sit with him. Luhan wrapped one arm around her waist and placed his head on top of Daniella's shoulder. “Is that why your so scared of Jimin? because he used to beat you and force himself on you? Why didn’t you say anything to anyone?” Daniella felt like she was being lectured.

“Because no one would believe me or they would say I would deserve it . . . but it doesn’t matter anymore, I changed and it seemed I changed more because of you” Luhan straighten up as he was confused. “God, look at myself I seem so weak, the old me would have never cried over you. The old me would have given up the moment she knew you were taken. But no, I persisted” Daniella looked down and held her head.

“So it’s my fault that you’re weak?” Luhan was a bit hurt “It’s my fault that you couldn’t stand up for Jimin, everything my fault right?” Luhan started to raise his voice.

“No, it’s because I love you Luhan” Daniella confessed. “I love you so much, that I was afraid of what Jimin would do to you” Daniella touched Luhan's arm, she let her tears fall down her cheeks. “You’re hurt because I couldn't stand up for myself, I’m sorry” Luhan let Daniella cry into his chest.

Luhan couldn’t help but smile. “You said you love me, that's the first time you've told me that” Luhan kissed the top of Daniella’s head. “Honestly I kind of doubted that you felt the same way” Luhan held Daniella tight in his arms. “I love you too” Daniella looked at Luhan wiped away her tears. She sat up and moved to sit on Luhan's lap.

They shared a passionate kiss, holding eachother as their lips collided. “You know the date wasn't bad until the whole Jimin thing, and this sappy moment” Daniella played with Luhan’s hair, laughing.

“Hold on did you mention Lee Donghae? The team captain from Eastern University?” Luhan couldn’t help but smile when Daniella nodded. “I made him cry by kicking the ball in his face” Luhan laughed.

“Wait you’re not that tiny person with glasses?” Daniella tried to count how many years ago that was with her fingers.

“Come on it wasn't that long ago” Luhan stopped Daniella from counting.

“Exactly, that was two years ago! You changed so much since then” Daniella played with Luhan cheeks. “I must say you did mature very handsomely” Daniella pecked both side of Luhan's cheeks. Luhan scrunched his nose and started to tickle Daniella making her fall on to the bed. Luhan laid down next to her and they both looked at each other. “It’s been such a long day” Daniella yawned.

“Sleep, we'll start fresh tomorrow. We'll put all of the bad things that happened tonight behind us” Luhan pulled the cover over their bodies.
