Hara was my next door neighbor since we were kids, the untouchable beauty who I fell in love with at a very young age. Even as she would throw insults and snide looks my way, all I could think of was how beautiful she was. I was always the kid on the edge of the crowd, the one who everyone avoided because I was too quiet, too weird, too whatever they were not. She knew me, though, whether she admitted it or not. She has always known me more than anyone else.
