Im Yoona is a girl with a troubled childhood. Losing her parents at the age of 7 she was taken into an orphanage. The nuns always treated her well and even cared for her as if she was their own daughter. 

And to them she's forever grateful. She still goes to the orphanage once in a while to donate the little she can gather and visit all her orphan brothers and sisters. She loved the kids as if they were her own siblings. She would volunteer on christmas and easter to go and take care of them.

In the summer she also volunteered to take the kids to the beach. Yoona worked several part times and lived in a small but humble apartment. No she wasn't a person of possesssions but she lived the best she could with the little she had.

Even though she lost her parents and was alone in the world she was always cheerfull and strenght filled. She would always have a smile on her face even if the worst of days was going on. Jessica Jung, is the heir to one of the biggest corporations in South Korea.

She's a person who as all the skills she needs to take over the company but...she's lazy. Too lazy. Her parents tried everything but they can't get much out of their daughter than for her to ocasionally attend some meetings, concerts, diners. Although her father tells everyone she is next in line. He's already changing his plans to make Krystal Jessica's younger sister the heir.

Problem is Krystal is a dreamer and she doesn't want this fate for herself. She has come to hate Jessica as she wouldn't do anything to save her. Jessica...she doesn't care about her sister? No it's not like she doesn't care. She cares, she cares perhaps too much, she also doesn't want Krystal to suffer this fate.

She just doesn't know what to do. And she doesn't want to end up like the other countless daughters of families that end up marrying some stranger just for the sake of business. Jessica was a different character and so not many guys would have the courage to ask her out and their fathers wouldn't want to use her as business matter.

The guys that did earn a date, would often be humiliated. She was quite known on the rich society.

Yoona needed a new job. Anything would be fine as long as she could pay her bills and buy her siblings some toys and food. Yoona worked as a replacement driver at night. It was not her dream job but it provided her with enough. She needed something more though. She was really against the wall these past few months.

She went to a job agency. There she saw all the potential jobs she could do. While on the orphanage Yoona and the nuns had gathered some money with the help of the other orphans for her to be able to do Tae Kwon Do for the years she was in the orphanage. She was a national 2nd place. She lost to a girl called Kwon Yuri. She hated her to this day.

 

-"Miss Im" The girl siting across Yoona called.

 

-"Yes?" Yoona answered.

 

-"With your training in martial arts would you mind a bodyguard job?" The girl asked.

 

-"Bodyguard eh?" Yoona said.

 

-"Well I guess I don't have many options" Yoona said.

 

-"Someone will contact you later then" The girl said.

 

Yoona had been home for 3 days now, she ended up getting fired from her replacement driver job. She just went all out on a rich guy who thought he was any better than her. Yoona couldn't stand rich people.

Always so full of themselves, so...annoying. Suddenly her phone rang. Yoona quickly grabbed it and answered.

 

 

-"Hello" Yoona said.

 

-"Miss Im" The girl on the other side said.

 

-"I have a job for you, well quite a few actually" The girl said.

 

-"Seems like someone just hired your services for the next week" The girl said.

 

-"Ah, so it's only temporary" Yoona said.

 

-"For now at least yes" The girl said.

 

-"Thank you, would you give me the contact of the employer then" Yoona said.

 

-"There is no contact only an adress" The girl said.

 

-"Okay then" Yoona said.

 

Strange, no contact, only address? Yoona left her home in search of the place. She took the bus to the city center. The address was around here. She went to a café and asked for information.

Yoona looked up. A high and mirrored like skyscrapper stood before her. She went to the security booth and asked if this was the right adress. The guard nodded and explained to her how to get to the lobby.

Yoona walked inside the building. The lobby was massive and many people were moving about. She looked around for a reception. As soon as she went 2 steps inside, some guards appeared.

 

-"Excuse me Miss but I think you should leave" One of them said.

 

-"Why? My employer is here" Yoona said.

 

-"Employer? Are you dreaming? Why would the Jungs employ someone like you?" The guard said as he pointed towards Yoona's clothes.

 

She had a pair of jeans, black all stars, a white t-shirt and a white cardigan.

 

-"What's wrong with my clothes?" Yoona said as she looked down.

 

-"Am I to poor to come here then?" Yoona said.

 

-"Just leave please" One of the guards said.

 

-"I already told you my employer is here" Yoona said.

 

The man tried to grab Yoona's arm but she twisted his arm and kicked him on the ribs.

 

-"Yah! You!" The other guard said as he came at her.

 

She kicked him on the face. Both men were down and Yoona simply stood there as if nothing happened.

 

Suddenly the sound of someone clapping was heard. A man approached the scene and looked at Yoona.

 

-"You're hired" The man said.

 

-"And who might you be?" Yoona asked.

 

-"I'm the owner of this building" He said.

 

-"You're Mr.Jung. Sorry about your employees" Yoona said.

 

-"Don't worry"

 

-"Let's go into my office" Mr.Jung said.

 

Yoona went inside the elevator with Mr.Jung.

 

-"Do you know why I hired you?" He asked.

 

-"No" Yoona said.

 

-"Well, you'll be my daughter's bodyguard for a week" He said.

 

-"But more than that, I'll need you to be her babysitter. Literally" The man said.

 

Mr. Jung explained how his daughter would only be in bed or home all day sleeping or doing nothing, she was nothing more than a lazy brat he could not withstand anymore. Thanks to her he would have to put his younger daughter in a dangerous position.

Yoona didn't understand her role in all of this but she could well take care of a lazy brat.

 

-"You'll start now" He said as they got out of the elevator and walked towards his office.

 

-"She's inside, later at night there will be a charity dinner, please do your utmost to make sure she goes" He said. 

 

-"Well I'm a body guard not a babysitter" Yoona said.

 

-"Please Miss Im. I beg you, I'll pay large" He said.

 

Yoona looked at the expression on Mr.Jung's face.

 

-"I don't need more money, I can see you really need this" Yoona said.

 

-"Thank you Miss Im" He said as he left.

 

Yoona went inside the office.

 

-"So you are the monkey my father hired to take care of me for a week?" A girl with her hair dyed blonde said as she sat behind the desk.

 

-"Sorry, Miss but I'm not a monkey. But yes I was hired to take care of you" Yoona said with a smile.

 

-"What's your name?" Yoona asked witha bright smile.

 

The girl looked at her. This didn't made any sense. Is she an idiot? She insulted her and yet she's smilling.

 

-"I'm Jessica Jung, I'll be your master for the next week kid" Jessica said.

 

-"Master? No. I'm your bodyguard not your servant" Yoona said.

 

-"Ahhh, you're my unnie? Shouldn't you already have some sense on that head of yours? Why need a bodyguard you're old enough to take care of yourself" Yoona said with a smile.

 

Jessica was shocked. It was the first time in whole her life someone ever spoke to her like that.

 

-"What's your name? Idiot" Jessica asked.

 

-"Im Yoona, nice to meet you spoiled brat" Yoona said again with a smile and a sarcastic tone.

 

-"I think this is a start of something new. Yoona" Jessica said as she shook Yoona's hand.

 

 

Yoona didn't want to put up with Jessica and the other was rather intrigued by this smiling and sarcastic idiot. The Idiot and the beauty it could be called.
