Out of pure luck, you became the hostess for DBSK’s Star Show. He was excited when he saw you on the set. You gave him a small nod and went to review the script. You talked to the director and went in the back to fix your own make-up.

There was a knock on the door. “Come in.” You patted your cheeks with foundation. You looked up through the mirror and saw Jaejoong. Your eyes widened, “Oppa!” He rested his hands on the back of your chair, “You look beautiful.” “Thank you but,” You glanced at the door, “Did anyone see you come in?” “No.” Jaejoong shook his head. You sighed in relief. He smiled, “I’m so happy we’re working together. Now I’ll be able to see you the whole day today.” “Same here.” You gave him a small, but sincere smile. “I should go. I’ll see you later.” Jaejoong kissed your head and left. You sighed *Let’s just hope that we don’t get caught.*

You headed out just as everyone was getting comfortable on stage. Jaejoong met eyes with you and gave you a wink. You turned pink and glanced around to make sure no one else had seen. Yunho held out his hand, “We meet again.” “Hello.” You shook it. He leaned in and whispered, “I know between you and Jaejoong. It’s nice he has someone to love now. Please be good to him.” You bowed, “Thank you.”

“Okay, we’ll start in 5!” The director called. You smoothed your dress and sat on the black stool. You smoothed your hair and cleared your throat as you stacked your cue cards. The director counted down, “5.4.3-“ Jaejoong squeezed your hand and you gasped. “2.1.” The director nodded.

You yanked your hand out of Jaejoong’s and looked to the camera, “Welcome to Star Show 2010. I’ll be your hostess ~~~~~~~.” Jaejoong gave you a confused look but put his hand back on his lap. You followed the script and asked DBSK the appropriate questions. “I know you have said your ideal types before but are there any recent changes to that?” You asked.

Most of them hadn’t. Except Jaejoong, “Actually, mine did change.” You stared at him *Please don’t say anything that could give us away!* He said, “My ideal girl had pretty hands and feet. But lately, I realized that’s not the most important thing.” *Oh no.* Your stomach sank. Jaejoong looked straight at you, “I like girls who know what they want and are not afraid to go after them. Like you, miss reporter.”

His members chuckled.

You turned pink and you flipped the cue card, “Next question!”

Jaejoong wondered why you weren’t smiling or laughing. It was supposed to be an inside joke.

Hours later, the interview ended.

You quickly bowed and ran off.

“Is your girlfriend sick, hyung?” Junsu asked.

“I don’t know.” Concerned, Jaejoong went after you. He grabbed your wrist, ~~~~~~-ah.” You whirled around with a flash of anger, “How can you say that?!” “Say what?” Jaejoong blinked. “The whole ideal girl thing!” You vented. “Why is that a problem? It was the truth.” He pointed out. “But, oppa! It was on national television! Now people will be suspicious of you and me!” You proclaimed. His eyebrows furrowed together, “Is that so bad?”

Before an argument could break out, your boss and the diplomats came forward, “Oh, ~~~~~~~~~~~~~-ah, are you busy?” “No, sir.” You bowed. Your boss looked at Jaejoong, “Oh! Hello Hero Jaejoong! My daughter is a huge fan of you!” “Thank you.” He bowed.

Your boss glanced between you and Jaejoong, “Are you two familiar with each other?”

Before he could say yes, you blurted, “No!” Heartbroken, Jaejoong stared at you in disbelief. “T-this way.”

You glanced at him once then led them away.
