Kim Kibum is new to the high class world of the elites and socialites of Seoul's most prostegious preparatory schools. Characters:

Kim Kibum (Key) [Junior]

The charity case that everyone knows by name. He quickly (and unwillingly) becomes associated with the most known kids in school (inner clique). Even if he wants to avoid it, he slowly gets involved and intertwined into their crazy and messed up lives. Main culprit of starting the school's gossip magazine, spilling all the secrets he's told or witnesses. (All in the name of not going crazy.) Only confines in Amber his woes. Soon realizes that playing with fire only burns you. Has a diva attitude but works to his benefit most the time.

Amber Liu [Sophomore]

The editor in chief of the school newspaper (later turned magazine). Used to be close to the inner clique until she had a falling out with Krystal which she refuses to talk about. Changed her look over the summer to being the tomboy she always was, making her the social outcast. Doesnt believe anyone if they tell her she is beautiful or gorgeous (what Kibum constantly does) due to past events and insecurities. Befriends Kibum right away, even if it was done accidently at first. Promises herself never to fall in love with another wannabe to spare her feelings.

Jung Soojung (Krystal) [Sophomore]

The reigning queen of the school. Don't let her gorgeous smile and beauty fool you, she can be a vicious one. Has been in a relationship with Minho since she was 12 and he was 15. Her parents are Kibum's sponsor and she quickly takes a liking to him by calling him Key and blackmailing him for good measure. She admits she's a but she does have her own personal demons. Her best friend and forever rival is Jinri. She constalts her woes to Taemin and has a love/hate (more love) relationship with Kai. Is still a "," trying to find the right time when to give it up to Minho and make it special.

Choi Jinri (Sulli) [Sophomore]

The beauty queen, prom queen, the girl every girl wants to be. She is spoiled rotten by her parents and friends (specifically Minho). She knows she is loved and can get away with anything, her only downside. She is adorably cute and friendly to everyone but sly as a fox. Grew up with Krystal, Minho, Taemin, and Kai. Everyone knows (but Krystal) she is head over heels in love with Minho but constantly seeks comfort from Taemin. Loves Krystal too much and is too loyal to make a move on Minho. (Doesn't mean she stops the advances Minho gives behind Krystal's back.) Isn't as innocent as she looks.

Choi Minho [Junior]

Captain of the soccer team, the source to every girls wet dream, in a commited (in Krystal's mind) relationship. He's gorgeous and even sinful with that smile of his but is an . Knows he's attractive and works it. Treats Krystal like dirt and only conserves his nice side for Sulli and Taemin. Keeps pressuring Krystal to sleep with him, thinking the feelings for Sulli will go away. Dislikes Kai and knows what happens behind his back but is no better himself. Considers Taemin the person he wishes he was and loves him unconditionally as if he was his own brother.

Lee Taemin [Junior]

Cute as a button and adored by all. Like Sulli he isn't as innocent as everyone thinks he is. A silent casanova and his latest victim is Son Naeun. Loaths Minho to the core and sees him as a rival but hides it very well. He hates how Minho only plays with Krystal's feelings, is the only one that knows why she is the way she is. Gets hurt knowing Sulli only uses him as a rebound but takes pride (especially when he imagines Minho's face) in knowing he lost his ity, while taking Sulli's. Their escapades are still ongoing behind everyones back. His best friend is Kai.

Kim Jongin (Kai) [Sophomore]

The one your parents warn you about. The ultimate bad boy. He's vulgar and a jerk but doesn't hide it. He has the hots for Krystal and wants nothing but to get in her pants. Don't think him bad, he may be a playboy but does it because he knows it's the only way Krystal pays attention to him. Is the closest to Sulli and disapproves of her feelings for Minho, always putting in a good word for Taemin. Has a heart of gold with the charity he and Taemin do on the weekend with their dance crew. Honestly cares for Krystal and treats her like the princess she deserves to be.

Minor Characters:

Choi Sooyoung

Sulli's older sister. Is engaged but the Choi legacy at school started from when she was at school. Though she's changed, it was too late to be a good example for her younger sister.

Jung Sooyeon (Jessica)

Krystal's older sister. Loves her sister unconditionally but doesn't realize she set the standards too high for her younger sister. She's oblivious and doesn't know why her sister dislikes her. The main source to Krystal's demons.

Kim Jonghyun

Jessica's ex and housing Key while he goes to school. Always the voice of reason and warns Key to not get involved if he can. Had a falling out with his hyung when Jessica and Luna cheated on him with his hyung.

Lee Jinki (Onew)

Taemin's older cousin and Jonghyun's hyung. Was tricked by Jessica to make it seem like she cheated with him. It wasn't the case. Didn't know that Luna only dated Jonghyun to get close to him. Misses talking to him and worries for what Taemin is doing with Sulli all the time. Still he hides their secret.

Henry Lau

Amber's best friend and ex. He knows her better than everyone else and due to that, he hates Krystal for what she did. Is weary of Key but nonetheless likes him being friends with Amber. Only one that knows what happened.

Victoria Song

Isn't the friendliest when it comes to Choi Sooyoung. In an arranged marriage with Shim Changmin, Sooyoung's ex. Though she dislikes Sooyoung she adores Sulli like a little sister. Prefers Taemin over Minho.

Shim Changmin

Sooyoung's ex and would still be boyfriend had they not fought. He regrets that fight more than anything else in the world. Is arranged to marry Victoria and feels guilt in knowing he can never love her how she wants him to. Is the person Minho always goes to talk to and warns Minho to not get involved with Sulli because getting involved with the Choi sisters only brings on heartache.

Bae Suji (Suzy)

Krystal's other friends. Whenever Sulli isn't around, Krystal talks to her. Due to that she hates Sulli because she will never come first to Krystal. Likes Kai and seduces multiple times. Only she never gets what she wants and doesn't understand what it is Kai ultimately wants.

Lee Minyoung (Min)

One of the writers in the school paper (magazine) and a friend to both Amber and Key. She silently roots for them to make the downfall of the unbearable reign and ultimatley get together.

Oh Sehun

Kai's other friend. He's quiet and broody but it doesn't mean he isn't less of a jerk when he speaks. He's nicer than the rest and only spends time with them when he's not with his hyungs.

Wu Yifan (Kris)

Graduating after the year is over, Amber's last crush. He isn't a jerk but he isn't the sweetest person alive either. He has a hidden agenda ... that is still ongoing.
