They didn't expect to find the small, bleeding wolf at the edge of their territory. But they took him in, in hopes that he could probably mate with their alpha, or even their beta.

He was, after all, an omega pup, and that too, a white omega pup. They were rare and killing one of their kind would be a sin.

But the alpha seemed to have an aversion to the pup. The alpha that needed a mate, was trying to avoid this unmated omega.
