Foreword
Hello! New story! I am actually quite excited yet apprehensive for this one.
The story's plot is somewhat condensed and fast-paced. It is indended to be that way as it is only a segment of a bigger picture in my head. A lot of unexpounded happenings will remain unexpounded. A few unaddressed matters will be thrown here and there. A number of characters will not be very much developed. That's really just the essence of the story though, so I'm really hoping you'll give this story a chance.
Just for clarification: The first and third chapters serve as the prologue and epilogue, respectively, which will explain their narrations being in the present tense. The second chapter, depicted mostly as a flashback, is the meat of the story, which will also explain its narration being in the past tense. And finally, this fic is in the female first person point of view.
